Event

New Students are to place their stuff in their rooms and head out either too the commons or the court yard to mingle with other students.
Staff are to proceed to the meeting room to discuss student placement.

Dipper took no hesitation in quickly getting to his room and placing his stuff on the single bed in the room. He packed away all his clothes neatly and shelved all the books and journals he had onto the bookshelf that was in the room. He wanted those two things to be packed up and neat first and guessed that any other items could wait. Most of them were just hand made decorations that Mabel had given him. Saying he had been far to practical in his planning. He was about to run out of the room and into the commons until he realized that there was going to be other students there. He bit his lip and turned back quickly grabbing a few books and notebooks. He could take a few of those and make himself look busy maybe keeping people away from talking to him.

After he had those gathered up in his arms he quietly walked nervously to the commons. He saw the TV and snack bar but left both of those well alone. He took one of the sofa's in the corner of the room and started laying his stuff out. He placed a notebook in his lap and two of the books out with in reading distance. He looked around before he suck his head in his notebook and started taking notes from the books that he had laid out. He hopped he looked busy enough not to be dragged into a conversation.

Taio slowly headed towards her new room slightly followed from a distance by a small red cat. She had her head hanging low as she headed into her room and slowly looked around at the barren walls and single bed. She sighed and started to hang her stuff up and neatly put it all away. She caught herself in a mirror and cliched. She walked over and flipped it around so she wouldn't have to see herself . She groaned and forced herself to head out to the commons and gulped as she saw other students. She sighed and headed to the far corner of the commons and sat down her hands glowing.

Dipper coughed nervously when he saw a girl sitting closer to him than he would have liked. He blinked and curiously looked over her hands but he didn't know what he was expecting from the students. He really had been hoping that he wouldn't have been one of the only ones without some sort of power to develop but there wasn't much he could do about that. He nervously pulled his knees to his chest and moved his books to give the girl some more room. He observed her off and on between note taking. The hands being a huge curiosity for him. He hadn't even really seen something like that back in Gravity Falls.

Taio stiffened nervously for she hadn't even noticed the boy. She had been to busy staring at her hands to observe her surroundings. It was nice to know she kept her spirits. She slowly took off her gloves the glowing of the power circles bright. She began mumbling incantations to herself before her hands dulled. She sighed and closed her eyes staring at the ceiling. She wondered which teacher was in charge of "reraising" her.

Dipper cleared his throat half to try and get her attention wondering if she had noticed he was there. He didn't want to be rude and have seen something that might have been private. His curiosity had gotten the better of him though and he quietly started sketching her hands and taking notes on them. He was sure it was probably rude but he was interested in almost everything supernatural.

Taio heard him clear his throat and slowly looked at him. She sighed as she saw him drawing her hands and she gulped."it's rude to draw a princess without her permission." She whispered. "Plus you don't even know what they do yet." She said nervously. She wondered if the ones with powers had to display them for the others.

Dipper bit his lip and he rubbed the back of his neck. "Heh...ah sorry I was just curious is all." he rubbed the back of his neck and flipped over to a new page to start taking notes again knowing he go back and do touch ups later. "I'm kind of new to all of this," He gave a light chuckle and he looked up to her before realizing. "Wait did you say princess? Like are you an actual princess?"
