Mia & Chill

Mia looked up from picking the marigold when she heard someone talking to her. She stood up straight and looked into the tree, where the voice came from. She recognized Kisan and waved in greeting. "Samhare? No, I haven't-" She paused when a loud snap sounded behind her. She spun around to see Chill stomping on a bunch of sticks. "Sorry." She murmured, her wings flapping once and her ears going flat. "Chill, come here. You might attract a bear if you keep making that much noise." She said, her tone not at all harsh, though she was worried a lot of noise could attract more than a bear- say, the king's commanders.
Chill jumped off the sticks and ran over to his mother, clutching her arm tightly. He looked up at the person in the trees and grinned. "Hi!"
Mia smiled and turned back to Kisan. "Sorry, again. No, I haven't seen your sister, recently. Last I saw her, though, was this morning. She was with her horse."

Zee

Zee looked at the commander who had brought in the slave and waited for a response from him.
The commander nodded quickly. "That sounds reasonable. Teach these people a lesson!" He nudged the slave back toward the door, with King Zee staring at his back the whole way.
Zee rolled his eyes when they were gone and went back to work on papers.


Deft

Deft really had forgotten where he was going, and stood there at a crossroad for a minute trying to remember. It wasn't busy at this time of day, so he didn't have to look like he knew what he was doing.
After a moment, Chiorile padded over, causing the platform to shake slightly. He made a 'rawarwarrrr' sound, or something like that, and pointed his muzzle to the right.
"Oh, that's right. We're going to visit the veterinarians office. Thank you." Deft patted the tiger on the head and went right, while Chiorile followed on his heels.

Whirle

Whirel examined his tail, listening to the guards talk. He frowned, clawing out a bur that had gotten stuck in the fur on his tail. He sighed and looked down again. He could think of several ways to make this more fun, but he had a job to do. If he messed with the guards, anything the might have said thinking they wouldn't be overheard could go bye bye. But he could take a break. So he got to his paws and jumped to a branch on the opposite side of the tree, out of the guards' site. Whirel ran and jumped off of the limb, shifting in midair and turning into an orange-tailed hawk. He flapped several times to get rightened, then soared over the trees. He wouldn't go far.

Ryu sighed and clutched a locket that was around her neck. She jumped down from the tree, still holding it and sighed. Dear mother in Heaven, I hope you're well... (Writers block)

Hiroshu waited nervously outside the king's door, wondering what would happen to the poor man who had tried to escape. The commander came out of the room and Hiroshu jumped to attention. "What's the punishment?" He asked, trying to not look at the condemned slave.

Ka paced aimlessly around the tree-house. "This is lame." She told Ghost. The falcon gave her a gentle nip on her fingers in response. "Yeah, I should go hunting." She muttered. "But everyone else is gone and someone has to guard this place." She told him. Ghost flew out the window. "Hey!" She called, but he ignored her. She muttered a few words about him, then flopped over on her bed.

The guard with the slave looked at Hiroshu, gripping the slave's arm so he wouldn't flee. "Cleaning the dogs' cages and prison. The king must be in a good mood." He said, then ushered the slave toward the dog pens.

Zee

Zee was still at his desk, reading reports about what has been happening in local villages and slave farms. He was indeed unpleased with all of the sightings of the rouge people, what did they call themselves, Izoro? Izoku? Something stupid like that.
He sat the paper on the desk and shuffled through the rest.

Deft

Deft walked along one of the tree bridges, headed toward the vet. He was a frequent visitor there, considering he used to be N'kar and had a thing with animals. So when he had a chance, he came to help.
The veterinarians office was a building that was built low on one tree, and went to the ground. It had to, for large non-treeclimbing animals like horses and lions. The only reason Chiorile was up here is because he could fly himself.
Deft turned onto another skybridge, almost there.

Whirle

Whirle whirled through the air, wings catching the wind easily. He circled the guards he was spying on, peering down at them with hawk-vision. He floated on the air currents for awhile, listening to what the wind carried of their conversations, hoping for anything that would be useful.
He was just drifting in circles when something wizzed by his face, causing him to startle. He looked down to see one of the guards was firing at him! Whirle dove back toward the tree, but not before another guard shot. The bullet grazed his leg. He clenched his beak shut tight to keep from hissing in pain and landed in a high branch of the tree, making sure he could not be seen. The guards were trying to find him, and he stood still despite the sting in his leg, waiting for them to loose interest.

Personality: Raven is a very happy, sarcastic and random girl. Although she is older, she tends to act a bit childish. Despite that, she can be mature when needed and is actually a very skilled fighter. She has a strong admiration and love for animals, especially four legged hooved animals. Since her Ajax, her stallion,is the closest things to family that she has, she cherishes him. If you dare try and harm a hair on his head, you're in for it. At times, Raven tries to appear tougher than she actually is, like when she is annoyed by a person or is threatened.
