Throughout this exchange, Lazarus was confused. The poor soul didn't quite understand what happened, as the last few moments had been no less confusing. Of course, as a voicing this concern would make him seem more or less addlepated, he remained silent; an lonely observer. He would let Jake-not-Jessica hash this out, and only step in if he needed too. Looking quite out of place, Lazarus shoved his fingers into the pockets of his sweatshirt, nervously clearing his throat.

Wendy woke up in her bed peacefully. She listened to the singing of the birds before looking at the time. Her eyes swung wide open as she gasped. "Oh no, I'm late from my first day of work!" She jumped out of bed and put on her clothes as fast as she could, remembering to take her hat too. She cursed her phone for not waking her up when it was supposed to. She was already running towards the door when she remembered that her phone was still on the edge of her bed. She cursed under her breath before making a quick turn and snatching the phone rapidly. The girl stuffed it into her pocket and started running towards the door again. She swung the door wide open and slammed the door closed behind her. "The roads are pretty muddy so the forest must be in a terrible state... Oh well, I don't have much choice!" she thought while making a mind map of her path.

Puff was sitting on a tree, wincing. She rubbed her wing. "Ouch.." She said, rubbing the scar on it, it wasn't bleeding, but it was a fresh scar, new. She flattened her hair to show her antlers. She jumped off the tree, seeing if she was able to fly, she fell to the ground. "Ouch!"

"Are you guys siblings?" Jake asked, still glancing back and forth between the two of them. She took a step back, shook her head, then restarted. "Sorry, but as I said before, do you two work here or something? We can't seem to find anyone here who does."

personality ;; Elena is an adventurous spirit, and she doesn't care much for her own safety, causing her to get hurt quite a lot. That doesn't stop her though, but altogether Elena is a very kind girl but she's not one for meeting new people. She takes a bit of warming up to get used to people, but after that, it's hard to get her to stop talking. Elena hardly ever gets angry, but when she does -- duck and cover.

history ;; Elena isn't originally from Gravity Falls. She used to live in a small town from Michigan. She came across Gravity Falls after her parents wanted to move west to look for job opportunities. They didn't find many high-paying jobs, but they did find a home that they liked in Gravity Falls and eagerly bought it. Elena isn't totally new to Gravity Falls though. She's been living here for about 6 years now. She has a baby brother, but her mom is too paranoid to leave his side out of fear something might happen to him. Her dad is constantly working, so she rarely sees him -- mostly only on the weekends. Even though she spends a lot of time in the woods, she had no idea of the paranormal activities and beings inside them and she doesn't believe in them either.

Physical Description ;; Elena is a tall girl, standing at about 5'8. She's slender, making it easy for her to hide. She has long, straight blonde hair that goes down to about her stomach. It's almost always in a side braid. Her skin is pale, but tanned slightly from the sun. Her eyes are a baby blue and her jawline shapes her face evenly. She prefers to have comfortable clothes over stylish clothes, and she normally wears some dark denim jeans with rips at the knees, some converse high tops, and a sea green hoodie. She carries a lot of small trinkets and such in her bag, which is a leather over-the-shoulder satchel.

Likes ;; Elena has a sweet-tooth for candy and she likes to run around in the forests and town. She also likes to cause trouble sometimes if she knows the punishments aren't severe.

Dislikes ;; She prefers not to get caught when she's causing trouble or to be slowed down when she's adventuring. She also dislikes authority as it limits herself from doing things.

Fears ;; Being alone and losing loved ones.

"Yes, I work here! Or actually, help those who work here, but it's almost the same thing!" she answered while walking behind the countery and hopping to empty chair behind it.
"Ching-Ching! I'm working!" she hummed while slamming random numbers to a cash register and giggling to herself. When others started to question the pig, she jumped to stand on the chair.
"Waddles, the pig, is one of my best friends!" it partly meant if you dare to think he's just an animal
"He went somewhere today and I can't find him. I thought he might have gone out..." She tilted her head towards the window. After that she heard her brother coming to the room.
"Dipper!" Mabel chirped and hopped from the chair to the floor.
"They haven't seen Waddles, now let's go out to find himmmm~ " she whined while pulling her brothers hand. When one of the teens coughed, she stopped to stare at that boy with bright eyes.

Lazarus spoke up. "Uh yea," he agreed, bobbing his head at Jake's statement. God, was this not awkward? "We want to.. buy stuff; but the shop was unmanned. Do you guys work here? Can you ring us up?" Smiling a lopsided grin that he hoped wasn't as cheesy as he thought it to be, the teen waited for the twins' reactions. He still looked incredibly nervous, even if he had done nothing wrong.

When the younger girl spoke up, Lazarus shuffled his way closer to the counter. From what she said earlier, he had picked up that Waddles had been close to her. To ease his nerves, he thought about making conversation, though was a bit unnerved to find Mabel staring at him. Then again, he had cleared his throat.. so. But alas, it seemed as if Jake's purchase would not completed after all, given the fact that their potential cashier had hopped away from the counter.

Dipper stared at the two teens, taking a moment to gather what had happened. It appears that they wanted to buy something (that was a shock, seeing as how the merch was way overpriced), but no one had been there to help them. "Oh, um, yeah. I'll ring you up." He said a bit awkwardly as he walked to the register and began hand-writing a receipt. He didn't feel like bothering with the register at the moment - he wasn't quite sure how to work the ancient thing anyway. He was adept at mental math, which helped out. "And to answer your questions," He said as he glanced up at both the older boy and girl, "we don't exactly work here; our great uncle just owns the place. We may as well draw a paycheck though, considering how much he makes us do." He chuckled nervously, thinking about how many chores Stan made him do on a daily basis. "And um, yeah, we're related. That's my twin sister, Mabel. I'm Dipper, by the way." He glanced back down to the receipt, which was almost finished. "Waddles is Mabel's pet pig, which we're afraid might have gotten out. Sorry for the confusion."

Jake snorted. "Dipper? Odd name, although I guess I shouldn't be talking. M'name's Jake." She put out her hand for a moment, before remembering he was working the receipt, and brought her hand back in. "So you're staying with your great-uncle, huh?" Jake paused to consider that fact, before trying to add in a sarcastic "What happened, did you get kicked out of your house or something?"
