Charlotte eventually found the lake she often visited, one that was much cleaner and you could actually see the healthy vibrant plants inside with a few other water pokemon swimming about as she untied the rope from Cole's waist and let him drop inside the lake.

Even though he was now in water, Cole didn't stop crying. He crawled up on the river bank, trying to escape. "Th-this isn't my p-p-pond!" he sobbed. "I don't wanna be here!"

Charlotte sat herself down."If you stop blubbering like a toddler someone might actually wanna talk to you, your old pond would have killed you."

"I don't care!" Cole cried, wiping his eyes with the back of his hands. "It was my pond!" he didn't particularly enjoy sharing things with others.

Charlotte shrugged."Well now your pond is gone, you might as well face that."

Cole shook his head, dragging himself farther out of the lake. He had sort of gotten used to breathing the air, but he was still rather bad at it. "No." he huffed, stopping his crying. He dragged himself farther, hoping he was going the right way. "You're not my mom. I'm going home to my mom." he lied.

Charlotte shrugged."You'll never find it and i can already tell there was no mother because no mother would let one of their kids sit in a pond like that."

"I will find it." Cole puffed his cheeks out, pulling himself forward. He was rather upset that she had seen through his lie. "I'll make it home. You can't stop me."

Charlotte huffed."We are about twenty miles from your pound, Whats the chance you'll be able to crawl all that way without dying of humans, other gijinka's, starvation or dyhydration."

Cole bit his lip. "If you care so much about me dying, take me back." he huffed. He really did want to get home. He didn't like this lake.
