After giving Penny a good rub down and making sure she had grain and clean water, Lilly stepped out of the stables and headed towards the Apollo cabin. Her arms need medical attention. She stepped lightly on to the porch and rapped on the door. A blond boy about her age stepped out and studied her. “Can I help you?” He asked. “Yeah, I was wondering if you could take a look at my arms.” She turned her arms for inspection. The boy whistled softly. “Wows, got yourself in a fight with a Zeus brat.” “It was my fault” Lilly said quickly. The last thing she wanted was a rumors going around that weren't true. The boy fetched his medical kit and began applying salve to the burns. “They should all go away except for the big one.” He said motioning to a burn in the shape of a wave. “I am a afraid you’ll carry that one the rest of your life.” Lilly smiled, a reminder of her stupidness. She gritted her teeth and he finished tying up the bandage. “Thanks!” He smiled and handed her the bottle. “Apply that twice a day, and you should be fine.” She thanked him again and slowly walked off the porch towards her own cabin.
Climbing agilely into her bunk she lay down. She didn’t want to deal with people, let alone the couple who she had drenched, at dinner. I’ll get something later.” She told herself. Lilly drifted in to a deep sleep and thankfully there where no nightmares to disrupt her respite.
