Lucille glanced down at hi, not immediately answering. It was about a full thirty seconds later before she said anything. "What about the other demons? I hate them." She responded, something that she wasn't sure how truthful it was, but it wasn't a lie either. Most of the demons were just underlings who just liked killing for the sake of it. "And here's the big shocker; they hate me too!" She added, sarcastic eyes flickering as she shifted, teleporting down until she was leaning against the tree.

"I get why you hate them, I really do. But that wouldnt stop them from tearing the kid to ribbons if they get the chance." The archangel responded. Gabriel, despite having killed a lot and mainly comes off as bad, had meant it when saying he was on the side of the humans, and that was really the only reason he cared about the kid.

Lucille nodded silently, knowing he was right. She didn't bother coming up with an argument, she gave up, letting the tree support her as she stared at her shoes. She felt like kicking something, but knew that was irrational. She was just being stupid and emotional, something that always ended up hurting her in the end, and this was no exception.

Gabriel huffed and crossed his arms, "We sound like an old married couple now." He commented irritably with a frown, "I don't like it." He added, "Hell, it's weird to think about.."

Lucille's eyes switched to looking over at him slowly, and couldn't help but chuckle lightly, going over to sit opposite to him, folding her legs under her. "Get over it, Gabby. You're the one hanging around." She commented, watching him with a slightly amused expression, keeping her cool outwardly

"You should be glad I'm sticking around, Luci." He stated casually, however, he had a smirk present on his face, "I'm a pleasure to be around." He added. "But just thinking about it.." Gabriel gave am over exaggerated shudder, "...terrifying...."

Lucille grinned at him slightly, shaking her head. "Pleasure? No.. no, comfort? No, not that either. We can rule out help immediately. Complete pain in the arse? Yeah, that sounds about right." She said, acting as if she were truly thinking about it, snickering at him, and throwing her hands up slightly at his shudder. "Yeah, well, don't need to worry about that. Like, ever." She said, picking up a stick and messing with the fire, watching the flames leap up.

Gabriel snorted, "You're not exactly a bucketful of rainbows, unicorns and sunshine yourself either." He responded with a light chuckle. Then at the second thing she said the archangel gave a chuckle once again before raising an eyebrow, "...yeah, that's never going to happen. Ever." He responded, "Despite how dashing I am."

Lucille snorted in contained laughter, glancing away from Gabriel before she burst out laughing. She took a moment before glancing back at him, but after a split second started laughing anyway, more because he actually said that, than because she found it funny. "Eh, I've seen worse." She tossed him the bone, at least, biting her tongue slightly as she grinned, her vessel's dimples showing. "Rainbows? Unicorns? Sunshine!? Ew." She played along with him, though it wasn't really playing, as it was pretty much true.
