mabel groaned, sitting up. her brown eyes were squinted as she took in the forest. slowly standing up, she brushed off the dead leaves from her sweater and skirt. "this isn't gravity falls..." she murmured. it was kind of obvious - she could feel no real sense of danger. with a frown, she looked arouns. "dipper?" the girl called out worriedly, wondering where her younger twin brother was.

Lucille nodded, looking at the family. At first glance, there wasn't much resemblance except for their face shapes, but as she looked closer she saw it a little more. "Alright.." She said as they seemed to ignore her second question. She suddenly remembered the note, and pulled it out of her pocket, unfolding it. "You were sent here to test your skills and enhance your abilities along with other people.." She muttered. "What's that supposed to mean?" She glared at the piece of paper, even though she knew what it meant. She didn't want to test her skills and enhance her abilities, especially not with other people. That's probably the worse idea she's ever heard. Who was behind this?

The reptilian beast didn't awaken from his slumber, he was still laid down on the ground, resting peacefully. Smoke bellowed from the dragon's nostrils as he slept, exposing none of his underbelly while re rested in a deep slumber.

mabel froze, her hands placed on her headband. "w-who's there...?" she called out nervously, looking around. her right hand reached towards the underside of her sweater. from reflexes, the human girl pulled out a grappling hook and aimed it at the noise.

The Doctor groaned, sharply inhaling as he woke up, pain shooting through his head. Slowly opening his eyes, he was greatful for the canopy of shade, instead of immediate full on sunlight. "What happened?" He muttered, slowly getting to his knees, then to his feet, looking around. "It looks like a forest!" Pulling out his sonic screwdriver, he scanned the area, looking at the results. "Probably because it's a forest!" He added, wandering a ways away. He looked up as he saw a girl, tilting his head. "Hello! Are you hurt?" He asked, looking around at the towering trees. Didn't seem like the typical place for a stroll.

Mary shifted slightly while she moved, the painting who resembled a nine year old girl didn't like this, usually in the Gallery she'd know where everything is and where anybody would be, but this wasn't like the Gallery. Mary hesitated as she continued to approach the voice, "....u-uhm....i...I won't hurt you....." She promised, though she could never be certain, what if this person tried hurting her first?

Lucille nodded, looking between them, curious as her eyes flickered to the missing details. "Hunt? Where's your guns? Ammo? Packs? Anything typical for animal hunting?" She asked suspiciously, shoving her hands in her back pockets, shifting her weight to one leg as she swung her long hair behind her, taking her hand out of her pocket and brushing it back with long, slim fingers. She listened to the whispering of the forest, the leaves blowing and rattling in the wind, creating an almost unnerving sound to most.
