Hunters and Hunted~hybrid/ human rp~

"They attack us, that is more then enough reason to fight. Even if fleeing is usually possible its better to be rid of them." Zaliv said. " They are a hassle.. and if you protect them you are no different." Looking up he noticed the other beastman he remembered from the night before fly down. " Isn't that the one you protected?" he said to Haru.

[SnowFlies]

"That hunter has already asked for a death wish." Mia added casually, she still hadn't forgiven that girl about what happened yesterday night. Why should she anyway? It wasn't like she had asked to be attacked. But alone the human wouldn't last unbearable inferno.

[Wolf'sflame]

Haru growled, "If you stay away from her then she won't attack, it's just that simple. The boy attacks, she only helped him because he was in a tough spot." 'Like I was when I was little...' Haru added in his mind. Rama smirked, "Haru doesn't exactly like fights and he doesn't exactly fight for one side or the other. He actually-!" Rama was quickly attacked by Haru's swipe, "Don't even start!" THen Haru walked off.

[Thunderga]

Zaliv watched Haru leave then said to Rama, "If he is going to protect humans then keep him out of the way. If I run into that hunter again and he interferes, im not going to give him another chance."

Ryeka stalked up behind some bushes and peered out into a clearing in the woods. There were a few moose grazing there.. big prey but if they all worked together they may be able to bring it down. Especally if they used their powers, although she didnt want it to have to come to that.

Dawn grinned and leaped to the ground silently, slowly morphing into a large black wolf. She crept up with the other two and peered out of the bushes, her golden eyes flashing at the scent of the prey. She watched the moose with interest and hunger.

Derex turned his head away as Kaiya shot another dose of pain medication into his left arm. It felt weird, having someone help him. It was even stranger that someone he didn't even know seemed to really care for his well-being. It never crossed his mind that this was even possible.

He did not speak as she got herself ready and said goodbye. He did not turn to glance at her. Derex was glad that Kaiya finally left. He wanted some time alone to clear his head.

Rosi looked back as Dawn came up to join them. This is so cool! My first hunting trip! Yay! She tried to keep her excitement under wraps. But looking at the large prey, Rosi quickly became nervous. She'd never seen an animal that big before. It was tall, and bulky, with big horn-like things on its head. Its legs were long and skinny. What was this thing?

Rosi lowered her body to the ground, ears pinned against her head. She looked over at Ryeka. "Those things are scary looking. I don't want to eat them," she whispered.

Dawn glanced at her. "It's fine." she whispered, her whisper sounded more like a breath. "Just elk. They are easy to take down." she pinpointed a weaker member of the herd with a swollen leg and she watched it's every twitch, muscle flinch, blink, EVERYTHING. She poised her back legs to spring, her muscles locked in place.

[Wolf'sflame]

Rama shrugged, "Even I don't know what side he's on."

Kaiya quietly looked through the streets. She suddenly noticed the group of Beastmen. Knowing it would be stupid to run in and attack, she hid in the shadows.

[Thunderga]

"I just dont want him getting in the way.." Zaliv said. He turned, looking away from them all. "Well im going, good luck killing the hunters if you see them." he said to them both.

Ryeka whispered "They may look that way.. but dont worry. You can come in last, after both of us go at it. Since this is your first hunt.. all I can really tell you is to try to copy what we do. Im not that great at hunting myself." She then layed low to the ground and moved a few paces away, to attack at a different angle from them. She was set to attack, only waiting a moment to see if the others where ready.

((sorry, I haven't posted in forever! school is trying to kill me.))

The big animals continued to graze in the clearing. Rosi did see the weaker one, but it was just as large as the others. Were Ryeka and Dawn really going to fight it and kill it so they could eat it? Rosi was hungry. But . . .

Rosi listened intently to the words of her friends, but looking at the huge animal before them was too much. She quietly crawled backward and hid herself behind a tree. "Can I just watch? I'm scared." Rosi didn't honestly think she had it in her. What could a little lion cub possibly do against those big things?

Derex was finally glad to be alone. After a while, the pain medicine began to work, and he became weary. He was so tired, but sleep wouldn't come. He couldn't stop thinking about . . . them. What would they say if they saw him in this condition? Is this the reason they abandoned him in the first place? Did they not think Derex was good enough for this?

That must be it then. My own parents couldn't have cared less about me. So, why would Kaiya? Maybe she just saved me to get me to thank her. Maybe she wants me to train her to be better at hunting. Humph, yeah right! Like that'll ever happen. Besides, you don't care for a stranger. Not without a motive.
