Minerva stood on a sunny patch of grass, practicing the various shielding spells she had recently read about. A few of them were above her age level but she really didn't mind. She thought it would be useful to learn advanced spells early just in case she needed the knowledge later.
After finishing a particularly difficult spell involving a shield of both water and fire Minerva noticed someone reading under a tree. She slipped her wand back into one of her pockets, adjusted the pin on her robes, and walked over to the tree. She noticed that the person was a Hufflepuff, and that he was reading about magical creatures, so Minerva cleared her throat and politely said, "I don't mean to disturb you but do you think you would mind discussing the subject of your book with me? I also found that book very fascinating when I had to read it so I memorized nearly the whole thing, but it would still be useful for both of us to reinforce our knowledge of the subject. Maybe we might be able to teach each other a thing or two in the process."
