I listened closely to Tera, eager to return to return to my human form so I could sort out my thoughts. I did as she said, though did bother to stand on my hind legs. Concentrating, I felt the, once again, excruciating pain as I began to shift forms. A rough roar morphed into a scream as I changed back to a human, my claws digging into the soft dirt below. Anything to ease the agony. Laying on the ground panting for breath as the pain faded, I tried to collect myself, sitting up. "Why doesn't that hurt you?" I asked Tera, my throat slightly raw from screaming, resulting in my voice being a bit hoarse.
