Jean blinked rapidly and looked away, trying to hide the tears that threatened to form and spill down his cheeks. "You're the best friend I've ever had, Marco," he murmured softly.

Zeke sighed heavily and looked down at the table for a moment before replying, "Alright, what do you need me to do?"

Armin let out a tired sigh of slight discomfort, heaving his shoulders slowly as he did so. He looked up to meet the gaze of his friend, although his blue eyes were half closed. "'Random' hardly begins to describe it... confusing as it already is, the mission was terrifying." he commented quietly, thoughts once again dragged back to those tedious and horrifying hours spent in the town. "And what of Eren now? Did he ever give his opinion on these matters?" the scout asked Mikasa in slight curiosity.

Mikasa shook her head slightly when he asked about Eren. "He wouldn't say much to me other than he was just fine and then he'd go back to having a rather angered look on his face. I'm sure he is very mixed with his emotions after the mission, but he doesn't seem to want to talk about it," she told Armin with a slight frown on her face. It disappointed her that Eren would act in such a way, but she knew how he could be and she accepted it. If he wanted to talk, she was sure he would come around and talk to her about whatever he needed to get off his mind.

Marco smiled at him though it faltered into a more concerned look when jean began to look rather upset. "Jean, don't cry." He spoke in a soft tone this time, trying to make his friend less upset. " did i make you upset?" Marco was a bit of a mother hen sometimes, and the plain fact he used the soft material of his shirt sleeve to wipe away jean's few tears really did show that. He took care of people whom he cared about.

The girl looked away and blushed a deeper shade of red at hearing his words, she was perparing herself for him saying that but it still caused her to blush. Armin gave a small frown at her words, and nodded slowly. "Definitely sounds like Eren, but I can hardly blame him, after he'd gone through so much..." Eren had always been stubborn like that. If he had his mind set on something, he didn't ever want to let go. Armin really hoped everything was going alright for him, considering the way Mikasa described him he isn't having the best of times as of now. "I'm sure we could discuss the mission all night and be almost as clueless as we are now in the morning. While we were eating, i had talked a while with one of the higher-ups, and he didn't have a clue either, which means that if they did get into the cellar, they are really keeping it a secret." he concluded with a short and soft sigh.

Kristen grinned and sat down, she seemed to be jumping a bit in excitement to see the results. "That's great! I can't wait to see if this pulls through so Zeke can be the start to our freedom!" The 31 year old scout grinned in a youthful excitement even with the tired mars upon her skins from seeing too much over the years.
