Tancered just stared at the older boy blanked faced."I understand." He mumbled looking down. Rubbing his neck he nodded and sighed,"I lived in an orphanage for a year while my father was in Tarturus. I got in fights a lot.
Jaried nodded in understanding. "Once I was in high school, the fights stopped but the bullying didn't. My mom blamed herself and told me the truth about my dad... to be honest, I blamed her too. When I was about sixteen, I ran away into the forest where I met this Indian tribe. They took me in after discovering me half starved in the wilderness. They brought me back to health and offered me a spot in their tribe as the new Shawman. I agreed to it and my first task was to tame a wold animal and claim it as my sacred animal. I chose wolf. Nobody had survived taming the wolf before." He oaused for a second. "I nearly bled out when my wolf, Aug, bit me and tore me a new one... I managed to wrap myself up and stopped the heavy bleeding. We gained a new respect for each other, Aug and I." He smiled at the memory. "After a year and a half of being the Shawman, they appointed a new one, giving me the OK to leave the tribe. I came here and Aug is in the forest around the camp." Jaried finished..

Clayton said softly and wanted to ask why he was tell him. Instead he shyly wrapped his arms around Aleakai in a quick embrace, "It won't happen again. We're good guys here." He muttered and took a step back. Ferrum tilted his head, having known that his owner didn't like Physical contact or talking...He whined and trotted off again.
Akeakai leaned into the embrace after a moment. At Claytons words, he smiled and looked up at him. "I can tell you about the rest of them, if you want. Most, if not all, have an interesting, dlightky painful syoey but a few have fun, childhood memories."
