Ash was sitting at the campfire by herself. She held her dagger in her hands as she twirled it around, that's what she usually did when she was bored.

I finished my sketches and went to the campfire. I saw someone there and sat next to her." Hey. My name's Devin, son of Athena." I said.

Demetri nodded, he never thought he had caused any real harm and she seemed like a strong girl anyway. He just didn't know his own strength at times. "I'm Demetri, Demetri Merrik." he held his hand out awkwardly to shake "son of Hades, its nice to meet you too" he added. "are you new here?" he asked, trying to contribute to the conversation.

Calliope shook his hand. "Yeah, I just got here the other day." she said, and thought for a moment "And I'm... Daughter of Zeus." She added, glancing back at the large marble cabin that she now called home.

"I've been here for 2 years. I keep my beads in my dresser at the Ares' cabin." She said to Devin calmly, he seemed a bit hesitant to say anything after she said she was a daughter of Ares. "I'm not too much of fan of my father either." She said to Devin, trying to be as sympathetic as an Ares' child could be.

"Ares is a total jerk. I met him one time while I coming to camp. Never again. I still have the scar." I said.

"I see, I have internal scars from him. The unusual half-blood kinda scars." She said, whilst still twirling her knife in her hands. She enjoyed talking to Devin.

I got my sword out. "I usually can't tolerate Ares kids, but I like you." I said. "And why would the war god beat up his own child? I'm pretty sure that still counts as child abuse." I added.

"It's just, he did something to me that I would never consider even thinking about. He well..." Tears met Ashlynn's eyes. She hated her father for what he did. "He um... killed my mother." She cried silent tears. She hated talking about this, but it was time she faced the truth.
