Maggie stopped when she heard Sarah call out to her. "Hi," she said in response, giving a little wave.

"I'm Mai," She said kind of loudly, a huge grin pasted over her face. She held out her hand for Jalie to shake. "What's your name?....How long have you been here? Did you wash up too??" Mai asked, then blushed a minute later, "I'm really sorry for rambling like that. I just get really excited sometimes!"

Dakota blinked open his eyes, face down in the sand. He rolled over onto his back and sat up, spitting up gritty sand. There was a huge, bloody gash across his right forearm, and when little Dakota saw the blood, he began to cry.

Sarah's turned her head. "Is that...A baby?!" Sarah screamed, knowing that the sound-source was a young kid. She ran over, and quickly discovered Dakota, picking him up into her arms. "Shh! Its okay..." She said in a nurturing tone...

Maggie turned her head too at the sound, following in Sarah's wake, staring at the little boy in fascination.

When Dakota saw the strange girl walk up to him and scoop him up, he began crying louder, tears streaming down his cherub face. "MOM!" he wailed, struggling to move away from the girl he did not know.

Sarah's countenence became confused. "Darling, its okay! You're okay..." She said, smiling at the little boy. "Come here. I can fix you're owie..." She said, looking at his wound.

"Hello i'm Jalie" She said looking at the ground."I've only been here a few hours and yea I washed up here." She answered quietly. She reached out and took Mai's hand looking up slightly and smiled.
