Lily barely heard Jame's last statement as she walked back up to the castle and rolled her eyes. Maybe Severus would be around so she could talk to someone she didn't mind talking to.

Ami sat in a chair in the Gryffindor common room. She was humming along to a Weird Sisters' song that was playing on the radio.
James looked back over his shoulder at Lily. He smiled half-heartedly. Why does she hate me? He thought. He shook his head, ignoring the question in his mind and looking back over to Sirius and Sabrina.

Lily shook her head clearing her thoughts and making her red hair shine in the sunlight. She walked towards the fat lady and said the password. The fat lady shook her head, "Sorry dear, but that's not the password." Lily looked confused for a second before shrugging and going back towards the grounds, not thinking.
