Rosalie burst in on the two girls, out of breath. "You got it!" She gasped, eyeing the flag in Kiana's hands. She pressed a button of her spear and disabled the poison that she had had ready.

"Yeah..."she panted, out of breath. She had run through more than half of the forest. The blue team was catching up. "Victoria, Rosalie, come with me! Have the others hold them back!" She gestured to them and took a deep breath. Kiana kept running.

Rosalie sprinted after Kiana, with Victoria right behind her. She held her spear carefully so not to impale herself while running. Then a member of the blue team lunged out from the trees. Rosalie battered them away with her spear, but he managed to cut a a gash in her leg. She fell to her knees. "Kiana, Victoria, keep going! I'll help keep them back!" She yelled after them.

Kiana looked back, a wild yet unsure look on her eyes. "Rosalie..."she sighed and ran off, not looking back. It would just make her slow down. Kiana felt like her legs were about to collapse any second. She could see the faint boundary line in the distance. Almost...there...she leaped past the line just as someone from the Poseidon cabin slashed out at her and landed a deep cut in Kiana's arm. There was a gasp of pain and a silence for a second. Then came the cheering as everyone realized that she had crossed the line. "Rosalie? Where is she?" Kiana breathed heavily.

'Well, I'm gonna take a quick look see.." Olivia decided to go a little farther. She saw a black figure. She may have been hallucinating. She screamed and fell back. The figure vanished. She ran back to the flag, catching her breath.

She groaned. They had lost. She walked up to Kiana and said, "Looks like my strategies didn't work...well, congratulations!" She smiled and cheered with everyone else. A thought popped into her head and she whispered to Kiana, "When do we need to leave? I still have a few things I need to pack."

Scarlett was fuming. She lost! Scarlett Eloise, Daughter of the God of War, had lost! She threw a look of pure hate at Kiana and ran off deep into the forest. "Scarlett." A deep voice called. "F-father?"Scarlett froze. He had probably come to scold her. "Scarlett, you lost. I can't say I'm not disappointed, but that daughter of Artemis' is a real fighter. Artemis is so proud and bossy." Ares glanced up as if he was wondering if Artemis heard him. "Kiana is not...no. Yes, she is. She's a snob, a snob who only cares for herself. Why does she get so much attention?" Ares glared at his daughter. "She's not afraid to show hersef. Maybe you should learn from her." Scarlett gasped. Her father wanted her to learn from...Kiana?! "No, Father. I'm afraid you don't understand." Ares narrowed his eyes and boomed, "Then I suppose you don't need my help. Haven't you been wanting to get on that quest of Kiana's? Oh, well...I guess you did well in Capture the Flag. Battle nicely fought." Ares said in a bored voice. He flashed and disappeared, leaving Scarlett alone and regretful.

"Go pack the rest of your things right away. We're leaving immedietly once everyone has healed." Kiana winced as she looked at her arm. There was an angry deep gash made by someone from the Poseidon cabin. She ran to her cabin and picked up her cream-white colored bag, filled with tons of food and supplies, (and of course, arrows).

"Kiana!" Anthony called. He peeked inside the Artemis cabin. "Umm...I just wanted to wish you good luck, and stay safe!" He blushed. He wanted to believe that she would make it back alive, but no one had ever come back from this quest. He smiled and took a small step outside, not knowing if he was wanted.

Kiana hesitated. "Thanks." She mumbled. Kiana knew Anthony had a huge crush on her, and Kiana felt awkward around him. She did like him, but...she let go. Kiana gave him a hug and a tiny kiss on the cheek and smiled. "I'll try to be safe, but that isn't exactly the point, is it? I'm trying to rescue something for my mother. I can't let her down."
