Enma looked up at the girl blankly, jumping a bit when she suddenly spoke up.
"Ah...u-u-un!" He gasped as he was pulled along. He looked up ahead at Alice a blinked a bit surprised. Enma didn't want to be rude, but he was staring intently at Alice's soul. It was rather big, but clearly needed training, much like his own. Enma smiled a bit before looking back at Alice and tilted his head. "Wh-Where are we going a-anyway?" He then asked, hoping that there weren't too many people.

"to a special food market i found as a kid when roaming around. They always have delicious food there, and they're having a sort of festival right now. I mean, not many people go there, but there are people who common the area, so it would be a lot of people i met when i was younger if anything." she replied. It was a bit odd how her soul look - it was a sort of red-ish colour and had rabbit ears instead of possibly hair points or any really defining features. As she hurried along, she soon burst out the front door's to the acadamy and stopped, taking in a breath of fresh air and letting go on the boy's wrist. "sorry 'bout that, but lets hurry or we'll miss out on all the good food!" she said happily. She couldn't see souls, but she had been told once by lord death that it was quite odd, not saying much else about it except a small 'it suits your name'. She now wondered what the boy's soul looked like, but knew she'd never be able to see it.

Enma nodded slowly in understanding, sighing in relief. If they were people that Alice had met when she was younger, they couldn't be that scary...right? His hand soon dropped when his wrist was let go.
"I-It's okay! I wanna try these foods too!" He said with a small grin. He grin soon turned into a questionable look. "I've never really had food on 'this side' before...i don't want to make a fool of myself..." He mumbled the last part a little too quietly before taking a deep breath.

The girl was a bit confused by his words, giving him a bit of an odd look. "this side?" she repeated his words, now blinking a bit in confusion, but soon shrugged and gave a smirk. "don't worry about it too much, if anything bad happens, i'll protect you!" she said proudly, putting her hands on her hips. She then gently moved a strand of hair out of the way from her face. "i'm not gonna let anything bad happen to my new friend!" she said boldly.

Enma felt his face heat up. Alice didn't know about the other side. Instead of dwelling into it, Enma smiled and nodded gratefully.
"Wow, you're so cool! I know i can put my trust in you Alice!" He said as he hopped up and down for a moment, white hair bouncing lightly on his shoulders as he did so. It was really nice for once to rely on a friend, especially someone like Alice.

She smirked, feeling much better then she did before. "Then lets get going, or else we'll never get to try all that food!" she laughed, now gesturing for the boy to follow as she spun around, long hair swaying behind her, as she began to walk off towards the steps of the academy. It was odd having a friend ... but as long as she had him as a friend, she didn't quite care about worrying too much on any negatives that might come up in the future. She was too busy actually enjoying his company right now.

[haha, so many going to join our group X3 - well currently Enma and Alice are exiting the school to head to a food market Alice went to as a kid - they also had a bit of an emotional bit in her room so if they keep a good relationship up they may be meister and weapon.]

I was leaving school when I spotted Enma and Alice leaving as well. "Enma! Alice! What's up?" I call out, raising a hand to wave. I ran up to the two of them, a friendly smile on my face. "What's up guys?" I ask again, my voice back to its normal volume. I brushed off my grey vest before putting my hands into the pockets of my dark blue jeans, walking alongside Enma and Alice.

The long haired girl stopped for a moment in surprise at her name being called. "hmn?" she muttered, soon turning a bit to look at cloud. She sometimes confused the girl for a boy, though it would just mean she needed to remember better. "oh ... hey ... Cloud was it?" she asked the other girl, and pointed at her with her white gloved finger. "nothing much ... i guess ... me and Enma were just about to go out someplace, why?" she asked, now leaning a bit to one side as she placed a hand on her hip, her other arm resting against her side.
