Marcei walked to her door and opened it, her face breaking into a bright smile as soon as she saw Kanaya. ";t's great t0 see y0u!" she exclaimed, giving the taller troll a tight, affectionate hug.

Kanaya smiled, hugging Marcei back. "It's Good To See You Too." She said.

[Curious]

Marcei stepped aside and gestured into the door. "c0me 0n ;n," she invited cheerfully, hair bouncing as she skipped through the entrance of her hive. It was made of a pale grey stone, smooth and slightly uneven. Ornaments hung from the ceilings in multiple shapes and pillows dotted the floor. A circular room led to upstairs, a spiral staircase climbing upwards and out of sight.

Kanaya examined the hive, complimenting the ornaments that hung from the ceiling and the pillows scattered about. "You Have A Nice Hive Here." She smiled as she came in, looking at the stairs.

"thank y0u," Marcei replied, continuing to smile. "make y0urself at h;ve." She plopped down on a nearby couch, it's ultra-fluffy surface soft and bouncy.

As she continued to scroll down the list of trolls, Temisa was surprised by the absence of lit-up names. Was there currently nobody online? Well, if there was nobody to talk to then she may as well go outside and do something fun. Flying around with her lusus for a bit and going hunting should do the trick.
Temisa ran towards a mesh bag hanging on the wall in what she supposed could pass as a kitchen. The bag was full of freshly caught fish. Temisa grabbed one of the fish out of the bag and climbed the stairs up to a large open balcony on the upper left side of the hive. The balcony was originally built to serve as a landing pad for Temisa's lusus, but since then it had been adapted to serve as both a nest and a feeding area. At that time her lusus was using it as a place to preen their feathers. Temisa ran over to her lusus and waved the fish around, catching the large bird's attention. She then threw the fish up into the air over the edge of the balcony and leaped on her lusus' back as it flew up after the fish. After that, Temisa motioned for her lusus to fly up higher and circle the hive to check for possible intruders or potential prey. After all, it was always worth it to be prepared for anything, including unexpected visitors.

Kanaya nodded briefly. "Thank You." She looked around a bit before walking over and examining some of the ornaments that hung up. The troll tilted her head slightly before looking back and setting herself on the couch beside Marcei. "When I Came Here I Was Hoping To Talk To You About Something. Was Karkat Acting A Bit Different Than Normal When He Was Talking To You?"

Karkat came within area of Temisa's hive, his yellow-orange eyes looking through the outside before he noticed something. It was a giant bird flying above; although he couldn't quite make out the rider, he suspected it to be Temisa and her lusus.
He just looked up at her with an unreadable expression, but it was not angry for sure.

Temisa looked down at the ground below her and noticed a small figure on the ground, presumably Karkat come to yell at her about something. She waved down at him before realizing that he probably couldn't see her very well from the ground and nudged her lusus so it flew a bit closer to him. When she was near enough to see his face clearly Temisa saw that Karkat's didn't look as angry as she expected him to look, which made her curious. She motioned for her lusus to land but didn't dismount the giant raptor just in case Karkat had one of his crazy rage fits and tried to attack her.

Karkat watched as Temisa flew closer and her lusus finally landed. He began walking to her, gaining an angry expression again. "Why do you always make things seem so fudging dramatic? And you didn't even give me a chance to speak! Why not actually help me understand the fudging game before you log the fudge out?!" He wasn't too angry, but he was still shouting as he usually does.

"n0t that ; n0t;ced. he seemed t0 be h;s usual grumpy self," she mumured thoughtfully in reply. Marcei scratched the back of her neck. "why d0 y0u ask? ;s s0meth;ng wr0ng?" The troll's eyes sparkled with worry and concern.
