Jeremiah gave a weak little smile as he pet the fox, sliding his hand gently over the soft fur of it's head. His blood could be smelt by the strong demonic senses, it pulsing in his veins. It was sweet from innocence, much like his soul, and must have been quite delicious. The boy jumped as the fox suddenly was under the blanket, he blinking widely. "Are you cold?"

Hubris softly knocked on the door of Jeremiah's room "My Young Master, there seems to be a...pest running about, May I come in?" She said, her eyes narrowed as he tail flicked from side to side in agitation that she didn't show in tone.

Kurai was aware of this, and oh did her mouth water at the thought of his soul. She curled into his chest, drinking in the tantalizing smell of his soul. Her ears twitched at the sound of Hubris' voice, so she burrowed deeper into the blanket and Jeremiah.

"..oh?" He blinked at the fox, before gazing over at the door. "..of course, Hubris." Jeremiah murmured, trying to calm the fox by holding her naively in his arms.

Childishly, Jeremiah gave a little smile as he hugged it like a teddy bear. "..a fox. I woke up and it was on my stomach. Isn't it sweet?" He gently pet it's ear, smoothing a thumb over it.

Hubris chuckled, trying to hide the bitterness in her tone "Oh yes, absolutely precious" she muttered "Though, Master, so you think it's a good idea to sleep alongside a Fox, they are knowing for being sly and cunning, making it easy for them to feast on you while you sleep" she commented, putting a hand on her hip
