Personality: Lysander is nothing like his Spartan namesake. He's quiet and mild, although by no means shy. When he walks, his footsteps make almost no noise, and he is always gentle with whatever he does. His voice is barely more than a whisper. In addition, he can seem to suck all of the noise out of an area just by standing there.
His outward emotions are somewhat mild as well, although he is sensitive. When he's happy, he smiles quietly. When he's angry, he quietly disapproves of whatever put him in that state. He never gets excited, although anxious wouldn't be off the list. His negative emotions are stronger and more actively expressed- although still unobtrusively- and he is highly self-critical. He does, however, try to be an optimist as much as possible, although this can be hard for him.
The one thing he would never do on purpose is hurt anything. He loves people and other living things to the point where he doesn't hate his mother's boyfriend, Daniel, he's just disappointed in him. With his friends, he'll protect them whenever he can, although he still will not use violence. Whenever someone is hurt or something breaks, he tends to blame himself and will do whatever he can to make it better.
History: Lysander has lived in a tiny house in a suburb of New York City for his whole life and hated it. Growing up, he was subject to physical and sexual abuse from his mother's alchoholic boyfriend, and had to learn to be as silent as possible and hide away. Recently, the boyfriend convinced his mother to go on a weeklong cruise with him, leaving Lysander at home alone to provide for himself. Unfortunately, he failed to mention this to Lysander, who believes that either the boyfriend kidnapped his mother or they both abandoned him. Lysander set out for the city, hoping to stay with a friend of his mother's, but lost the address and is now trying to find his way around the city.
Gift: Lysander hates his power, and will lie about it if anyone asks. He can "poison" things. If he touches a piece of furniture, a chair for example, the legs of that chair will weaken and can be broken with rough use. He can make plastic and wood warp. If he touches food, it becomes dry and tasteless.
He can "poison" minds as well. If he makes skin-to-skin contact with a person, he can plant an idea in their head. It seems to only work with negative ideas, fears, and suspicions. The person will think it's their own idea. He cannot, however, "mind-control" anyone or read their thoughts. If he touches somebody's joint, like an ankle or wrist, he can weaken it slightly.
It is important to know that Lysander still controls his power.
Crush: None. He is probably gay, but doesn't seem especially interested in a romantic relationship with anyone.

Medical Issues: He gets cold very often, and is also physically weak. He injures easily, too- the slightest bump will produce a bruise on his skin.
Visible Mutations/Noteable things: His fingertips are so heavily calloused that he can't feel anything with them other than pressure.

Personality: Violet is a very quiet girl and can come off as a bit rude. She avoids people often and tries to blend in with the crowd, but for some reason she is unsuccsful. After you get to know her she's sarcastic, laidback, and trsustworthy. She is obssesed with music and plays her guitar often, along with singing songs that she wrote. She has a habit of saying something before thinking, and she is very clumsy.
History: Violet was born into a weallthy family, and when she was five, she moved from Belize to Ireland. When they arrived, her mother had a heart attack, and she was sent to the hospital. Luckily she survived, but days later she passed. Violet's father went into a long depression, and when Violet was twelve, he left her to fend for herself, and he commited suicide. Ever since then she has lived at her large house still, the rolling hills and ocean soothing her. No one knows that she lives by herself, and she developed her power after her father killed himself.
Gift: Violet can control ice, and has accidently killed people in the process. Also she can teleport, although she usually does it by accident
