Rumple's eyes widened, and he dropped the contract and the quill in one fell swoop. There were birds attacking him, of all things. Only the Heart of Atlantis managed to stay looped around his arm as swatted at the animals. Narrowing his eyes, the Dark One snapped his fingers. Smoke curled around the feathered creatures as they changed forms and morphed into snails. With reckless abandon, he began stomping the poor things into the ground, teeth clenched. When he had finished the dark task, he turned back to the fairy and glared. "You think this is a game, dearie?" He narrowed his eyes. "Actually, I have to kill you anyway. I don't usually allow any third parties to witness my deal-making. Afraid you know too much!" he set his hand alight, apparently ready to roast Tinkerbell to a crisp.

Last thing he remembered, he'd been looking for the missing Avengers - Stark, Barton, Thor...little did he know that soon after he disappeared, Romanoff vanished as well. "Hello?" he called, checking for any signs of life.

This was a peculiar group, though she didn't get around to look at it until after the introductions. The first one she saw was a teenage male, the one who had asked their name. Not much was strange about him. The second was a blonde, also teenage, form with a gender that she couldn't quite make out. The third was a... thing she had never seen before, while the fourth member of the group was... him. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of that man whom she had met before, and at the sight of him, all that she could see were the words we're doomed.

Miranda tilted her head and thought for a moment. Lie? Mir wasn't very good at lying, even if her younger sister Cheyanne was brilliant at it. Anne, the nickname for Cheyanne, could make practically anyone believe anything. Unfortunately, lying was not Mir's forte.
