Karkat turned around, a bit surprised that the guy called him back. That was the least expected thing, but he didn't show the surprise; he only had an angry glare on his face. "What is it? Why do you want me, annoying, obnoxious, shouting me, to stay? I'm sure that guy doesn't want me to stay, so let him get what he wants." He growled, anger boiling within him, but another emotion he wouldn't admit to.
[ It's ok haha ]Findlay averted his eyes, looking at the ground and fumbling with his hand a bit. Yes, Peter may have a slight grudge against Karkat, but maybe they could get through it? Trying to make some sense in his reply, he went on to lecture the troll on what he had been taught back in his military camp.
"W-Well.." he began slightly insecure as he stared down at his feet, "Back in Trost they always taught us to stay together... Y'know, in case some danger come up... Majority in numbers is a majority in survival chances. I get you may not like me... or him," he said with a slight now od his head at Peter, finally coming to look at Karkat instead of the ground, "If something bad comes up to you while you're alone... Well, you would be more likely to die than if you were with us," he explained. Then he added to his explanation with a minuscule, somewhat goofy smile, "And who knows..? Maybe, if we get to know each other, you'll see it's not that bad?" He poured cheese all over his dialogue.

Karkat, however much he might not want to admit it, thought his statement sounded reasonable. He grudgingly began to walk back, folding his arms with a glare. "Fine, whatever." He muttered, glancing at Peter. "Let's just talk about what we have to and get it over with." The troll wanted to get the stupid talking over with so he could stop saying things to Mr. Stutterwords and Peter Webguy here.
