((Sorry for not posting guys. I was able to get on but I didn't have time to post on any RPs TT_TT I hope this sort-of long on makes up for my offline-ness xD))
Daichi pointed to himself, a questioning look appearing on his face. “Ah, me? You’re asking about me? Nah, I’m totally fine.” He lied, making sound as convincing as possible. His jaw was still in pain from his little battle with the Hunter from before but he didn’t want Crow to think of him as a weakling. I bet he had worse injuries but he’s not whining about it. He thought to himself.
Daichi tried his best to smile without causing himself too much pain. “And you’re a Dragon, huh? It must be cool having such a powerful form and being able to soar through the skies so easily…” He said, more to himself than to Crow. “I’m just your average werewolf boy, nothing more. You’ll find many more interesting werewolves than me. I don’t have any family, never have. I’ve been pretty much alone all my life. I suppose the only interesting part of my life would be when I was captured by some Hunters a while ago… I managed to escape, obviously, but I still have a mark on my back from where they put some number codes or something to identify me.” He said, talking about the whole ordeal as if it was nothing.

“Who cares if someone gets hurt? I just like the satisfaction of putting another one of you behind bars, where you belong. But I’m afraid for your kind you won’t even be offered a cramped cage. It’s immediate death.” Shibuki hissed, keeping his voice low in case someone heard him and began a panic. “Eh, Vampire brat? Surely you want to live longer, don’t you? Coming straight to my ‘home’ is practically asking for death to pay you a visit. And anyway, you’re still young. Perhaps around the age of seventeen or so…”
Without warning, he grabbed Summer by the collar and held her up. “What did you do, you ungrateful spoiled brat?!” He shouted, causing others to stop and stare. “I thought I told you to stay inside the house! Do you know how much everyone worried about you?! You don’t think about anyone but yourself!!” He let go of Summer before holding her wrist tightly and walking away with the eyes of others on the two of them.
Though Shibuki detested getting attention, it seemed unavoidable if he wanted this plan to work. By acting out a little scene, he would take the creature somewhere deserted and finish business there. Hopefully, the vampire girl wouldn’t be stupid enough to try anything funny whilst there was so much attention on the two of them. The fun could start once they were alone…

Sakamaku also noticed the deep scar across Kouki’s face, his eyes showing a little worry for a split second. He was about to ask Devin about it until he heard a shout from afar. His heart skipped a beat as he identified the deep, angry voice. “Shibuki.” He said aloud, his eyes widening. He let go of Devin’s hand quickly and searched around for his older brother, his dark eyes suddenly filled with fear. He found some relief as he finally spotted the dark-haired man not too far away from himself. He thanked God that Shibuki was looking in the other direction which eliminated the possibly of his older brother recognising him. It seemed that he was with… another female? She looked to be about Devin’s age if not older. “You don’t think about anyone but yourself!!”
…Let’s move Devin. I don’t want to stay around here anymore… He said telepathically to his friend, grabbing her hand once more. He realized he always felt calmer and more comfortable when Devin was around, even more so when he was close to her. He thought of Devin as his first, and most precious, friend. He found their friendship more important than any other duties he may have and their bond tight. Sakamaku was even closer to her than he was to all his family members combined. Then again, the thought of family left a sick feeling in his gut. His older brother was obsessed with revenge and both his parent were… Well, gone now.
This thought brought back the memory of when Shibuki found him and their murdered parents. For a minute, he tried to remember it from Shibuki’s point of view, which he had done a million times before.
~
Fifteen year old Shibuki ran into the house, calling out for his parents. “Mum! Dad! I’m back with all the food you wanted!”He called, closing the door behind with a little kick.
“Hello?”
As Shibuki walked into the main room, all the bags he was carrying fell to the floor making a loud clatter. His eyes widened in shock, horror and fear. On the floor in front of him were two motionless bodies. “M-Mum? D-Dad?”
He fell to his knees, his eyes scanning for any sign of life still inside them.
“They died.”
Shibuki looked upwards to see his little brother sitting on a chair, swinging his legs and looking at his parent’s lifeless bodies with empty eyes. “They died.” Sakamaku repeated, his voice deprived of any emotion.
“N-No way… Saku! Are you hurt? Did you see any of it?”
“They died.”
“I know that already!!” Shibuki shouted, slamming his fist against the floor.
Sakamaku’s empty gaze fell on Shibuki. “…Are you mad with me?”
“No… No, of course not. It’s not your fault at all. You’re only eleven after all and…” His voice trailed off as he got a better look at the bodies.
He was horrified at how mangled they were, and the directions that the limbs were twisted in were surely not natural. They both had died with a look of terror on their face, their blood splattered all over the room.
At that moment, Shibuki remembered something his parents had been talking about earlier. “…Creatures. Werewolves, Vampires, Dragons… they did it, didn’t they?” He said softly, a mad smile on his face. “Yes… they did it…” He burst out into mad laughter, unable to stop himself.
~
Sakamaku stopped the thought there. Even thinking about it from another’s point of view was too hard for him. Instead, he cleared his mind of that gruesome day and ran in the opposite direction of his only living family member…
“We have to believe in reality and must face it with all our might. There’s no bad life or good life. “This is good life” or “This is bad life”, I think those are just theatrical words. That is just a subjective opinion. “This is my life”, there is a beginning and an end. It’s better if we think that way.”

“Unlike a game, it’s not about winning or losing. But being able to help even a single person with the little things you do or making someone feel happy, if we can convey anything to someone it’s worth having done."
