((Yep, that's fine. I get how pulling random pics for OCs or whatever can feel weird ;_; It's like you're stealing their face or something ok I'm probably the only one who thinks that part Anyway, I'm just popping in before going off on vacation... as long as the form looks decent, someone just approve it for me. I will be back! (eventually) same goes for any more forms that crop up. Thanks everyone, and again sorry I forgot there was no wifi.

Vee comes off as unusually calm at first, having spent three years on his own trying to avoid killing people, though it's more really a mask he uses to hide his worries. Vee could almost be considered complex, at one point acting jumpy and nervous, another time having a harsh, blunt attitude or simply acting calm. He has an almost odd way of showing his affection, seeming to be irritated or sarcastic. In other words, he has troubles with the words, "You're a pretty nice girl," or however you'd put it.
L O O K S
Vee is short, standing at 5,8 with pale skin, with short, dark brown hair and rather bright green eyes, sometimes flickering to a slightly darker colour with gold mixed in, probably one of the only distinctions he was half demon. Vee usually wears grey or black, claiming it helps hide his emotions, but on occasion he wears green or even once he's worn yellow. Over his shirt, he almost always wears his white jacket, which somehow still looks pretty new, though in reality it's about five years old. After he was turned into Hellhound chow, and plucked right as he was leaving the doors, he still has the nasty scars from five years ago.
H I S T O R Y
Five years ago, Vee had a girlfriend who had ended up dying. He made a deal with a cross roads demon, though he'd ended up dying himself. He was in Hell for a few weeks, and then the doors opened, and as he was leaving he had been plucked out by an angel, though the angel had plucked out a demon and put a demon in his body. //who was him// After that, he locked himself up for three years, and then he left when he could trust himself to not kill anyone, and so he became half demon and half human in a way. Now he goes around hunting demons or whatever he can find.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III
WHAT YOU ARE
Fandom How to Train Your Dragon
Canon or OC Canon
Nicknames/Other Names Dragon Trainer; The Pride of Berk ; Dragon Master; Chief of Berk, Idiot
Species Human
Gender Male
Age 21

HOW YOU ARE
Brief Description He's at 6'1" and his hair is somewhat scraggy and unkempt with two small braids behind his right ear. His eyes are a green color and he has a prosthetic on his left leg.
Any other forms -
If yes, describe -

WHO YOU ARE
Personality Despite his physical shortcomings, Hiccup does his best to succeed as a Viking. He is intelligent and is constantly creating inventions for various uses. Hiccup shows great aptitude at being a leader and a strategist: he leads his Dragon Training classmates into battle, using his friends' strengths wisely in the battle against the Red Death. Hiccup also has very good observational skills which come in handy during his time with Toothless and during Dragon Training.
Among the other teenage Vikings, Hiccup first comes off as awkward, mainly because he's a poor fighter, and rather scrawny for a Viking. He also tends to be sarcastic with a dry sense of humor that can sometimes put him at odds with the other Vikings in his tribe. It also seems that Hiccup likes to hide his fear with said sarcasm and dry humor. Due to his shyness he had a habit of stuttering and stammering when talking to some of the others. One extremely notable character trait Hiccup possesses is a deep sense of compassion. Because of this he spares Toothless, and in doing so he changes the world of Vikings and dragons forever.
Overall, Hiccup is an intelligent, nice and likable person who is naturally bighearted and innocent. It's shown in the sequel that he and Toothless have become "adrenaline junkies", performing tricks like free-falling. He has also gone from being a shy boy, to a confident young man, and "the greatest Dragon Master this world has ever seen." (As Astrid describes him to Drago Bludvist ) and he is shown to care for his loved ones, especially Stoick, Valka, Toothless and Astrid.

Skills/Powers
Dragon Training and Riding: Though he only discovers this ability during the first film, Hiccup has grown to become the best Dragon Trainer on the island. His dragon, Toothless, is the rarest and best dragon in the Academy. Because of his talents he has been made head of the Berk Dragon Academy. In the franchise, Hiccup is always the one looked to when dragon related problems or needs come up. He trained a wild Monstrous Nightmare in seconds in Defiant One. This is noticeably faster than even Astrid who had to train the same type of dragon and does manage to do so but takes longer. He's also able to keep an enraged Whispering Death from running over him by simply putting his hand forward in. Still, some dragon challenges (including said Whispering Death) are greater than his ability, but he can always rely on Toothless and the other sto have his back. Hiccup has managed to devise a more effective method of calming wild dragons with Inferno as it produces the dragon fire of both a Monstrous Nightmare and a Hideous Zippleback. This makes the dragons consider Hiccup as one of their own as only a 'dragon' should be able to wield dragon fire.
Dragonese: Hiccup has learnt to speak fluent dragonese. (As seen in the books)
Drawing: Even before Hiccup began to train dragons, he practiced drawing. He is practically never without his journal and a large charcoal pencil. His sketches are usually quick and slightly messy, but compared to most other Vikings he is quite good. He uses this talent often. He uses his artist talent to aid him in making plans and inventions. His room is littered with drawings of Toothless.
Inventing: Hiccup learned a great deal about crafting from Gobber. His many years of apprenticeship have certainly paid off. He has created many ingenious devices throughout the franchise. He uses the forge well (despite his small size), and he's excellent at working leather. His devices were originally weapon like, and the Mangler cannon he designed allowed him to take down a Night Fury. After training Toothless he shifted in his desires and started working on a new tail for Toothless. This tail has been modified many times and is a work of sheer genius. He even created an auto tail using complex gear systems. Besides that Hiccup has managed to design a plethora of other objects, from winches to telescopes. He invented his own flight suit and his Dragon Blade, Inferno.
Intelligence: This talent is really at the heart of all Hiccup's other abilities. His intelligence is proven many times throughout the film and the series. He's almost always the one to come up with the solutions to the problems that the Riders face. He's shown to be very cunning, resourceful and perceptive and possesses a great aptitude for strategy and tactics. He's also fairly knowledgeable. Unlike Fishlegs who only spews out facts, Hiccup is able to use them for practical use and he does it very well.
Fighting: Due to Hiccup's initial size, he's not much of a fighter. In fact, most weapons are too heavy for him and struggles to lift them. Hiccup usually fights along side Toothless. Their style is more about defense.
Roar Call: He can make a roar noise that sounds similar to Toothless's roar, as a way for Toothless to find Hiccup.
Precision: Like Toothless, Hiccup has amazing aim, like when he was able to shoot Toothless down in the first film and hit a Deadly Nadder in the chest using his shield while flying in mid-air during Appetite for Destruction. He also managed to throw Inferno with enough accuracy that it landed right in front of Drago's hand just as he was reaching for his bull hook to control his Bewilderbeast.
Endurance: While it may seem hard to believe at first due to his small stature, Hiccup always manages to bounce back from a severe injury. For example, in When Lightning Strikes, he was struck by a massive and direct bolt of lightning to the head, and still managed to wake up just a day after.

Weaknesses Despite his many virtues and his clear capabilities as a leader, Hiccup is not without his flaws. He is rather prone to letting his insecurities cloud his judgment and effect his actions. Since Hiccup is unaccustomed to winning anything, he handles it very badly, letting the glory go to his head to the point where he becomes just as arrogant and unpleasant as Snotlout. Hiccup is also prone to overconfidence in his ability as a diplomat due to being mostly successful so far. In spite of all his flaws, Hiccup is never above admitting when he is or has been in the wrong, and will do his best to make amends with others.

HOW YOU HAVE BEEN
History
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, more commonly referred to as ‘Hiccup,’ is the son of the Viking chief, Stoick the Vast. He was thin and somewhat and does not fit the common characteristics of the average Viking boys his age. Because of this, Hiccup struggled to identify with the traditional Viking culture, which at times puts him at odds with his father and other members of their Viking clan.
As the assistant of the local blacksmith, Gobber, Hiccup excels in other avenues and exhibits a great sense of inventiveness, creativity, and smarts. What Hiccup lacks in physical strength while in Viking training, he makes up for by being able to interact with dragons, which his clan had been traditionally trained to kill. On one dragon raid night, he manages to shoot down the dragon who ultimately becomes his future companion, Toothless.
Through his immediate bond with Toothless, Hiccup’s new found knowledge of dragons allows him to quickly ride to the top of his class in dragon training. After earning the praise of Gobber, his classmates, and most importantly his father, Hiccup is eventually chosen by Gothi to fight the Monstrous Nightmare.
Not wanting to kill the dragon, Hiccup is quickly disowned by his father and ridiculed by the villagers as he tries to explain that the dragons are not as dangerous as they all might think. However, Hiccup is later able to prove everyone wrong during the battle against the Red Death when he gathers his fellow Viking students for training. Hiccup and Toothless ultimately defeat the dragon that had been terrorizing the Vikings’ village for a long time. This battle allowed the Vikings to witness the courage and bravery of Hiccup and enter the new world forged by Hiccup and his friendship with dragons.

Five years later, Hiccup has made Berk fully involved in riding dragons, during his years on Berk he has made great contributions such as custom stables, all you can eat feeding stations, a full-service dragon wash, top of the line fire prevention methods, even making Dragon Races that now serve as entertainment for Berk, putting the dragon problem fully behind them. Now that his hard work has payed off, Hiccup and Toothless travel across very distant lands and uncharted territories. He is also uses this as a reason to avoid his father. Hiccup is also known as The Pride of Berk throughout the village, and Stoick believes he is ready succeed him as chieftain. This pressures Hiccup, because he doesn't think he's fully ready for such a big responsibility. He and Toothless crash-lands onto a strange new place that Hiccup names Itchy Armpit. Soon, Astrid and Stormfly catches up with the duo. As Hiccup and Astrid come across the destroyed fort of Eret, Son of Eret, Hiccup discovers that there are other Dragon Riders and hears from Eret, about the tyrannical Drago Bludvist, who is currently assembling a huge dragon army to take over the world.

Hiccup and Astrid escape from Eret's men and head back to Berk. As they arrive, Hiccup informs his father about Drago Bludvist, and Stoick quickly orders the villagers to fortify and protect the island from the "madman", but Hiccup suggests that there must be another way besides war. His father rejects this and orders the men to close the stalls and keep the other dragons under lock-and-key. But Hiccup refuses this method, and stages a mutiny by escaping from the stalls before the doors close, with Astrid following him. Hiccup heads back to Eret, and tells them that he wants to meet Drago so he can change his mind about dragons, but Stoick, Gobber and the other Riders interfere as they manage to find them. Stoick doesn't want Hiccup to go through with his plan, as he explains that Drago kills people without reason and concludes that he cannot be reasoned with. Even so, Hiccup still refuses to believe this and rebels against his father's wishes to find him.

Hiccup, furious at his father's sayings about Drago
Meanwhile, Hiccup flies over the clouds, over thinks his father's sayings and furiously screams in mid-air. Toothless becomes worried for his friend, but Hiccup promises that he'll keep him under protection no matter what. Suddenly, a figure emerges, and Hiccup thinks that it's his dad again but discovers a mysterious vigilante Dragon Rider, whom he later discovers is his long lost mother, Valka.

Hiccup wonders why Valka never had the intention to return to Berk after all these years that she survived. Valka responds that twenty years ago, a dragon broke into their house and she quickly rushed to Hiccup's rescue but only discovered that the dragon was not a vicious beast, but a gentle and intelligent creature, "whose soul reflected my own." However, Stoick spots the dragon and interferes; the dragon attacks him nearly burning him alive. Valka tells the dragon to spare him; the dragon suddenly looks at Valka while Stoick rescues an infant Hiccup. But unable to rescue Valka who is now abducted by the dragon, putting inside his mind that she was in fact going to get killed. But the dragon did not in fact harm her, and she never had the intention to return because she thought it would be safer for them, because she couldn't kill a dragon. Hiccup and his mom start over again and bond with each other more mutually this time with their dragons and enjoy the time they have.

Later, Hiccup discovers also that Valka does not have the intention to reason with Drago and decides to do it himself. Suddenly, Stoick and Gobber locate him and are about to escape the Sanctuary, but Stoick is shocked in silence to see his beautiful wife still alive and they rekindle their once more. Hiccup has never experienced such joy in reuniting with his mother and father. However, their celebration is cut short; they were unaware that Drago has set up their weapons on shore and orders the final attack on the Sanctuary. Later, the Bewilderbeasts engage on one another to determine who is truly the Alpha of all the Dragons. Unfortunately, Drago's Bewilderbeast emerges victorious. Hiccup confronts Drago, and tries to reason with him but Drago ignores his claims and orders his Bewilderbeast to kill Hiccup, which decides to send in Toothless instead. Toothless, now hypnotized, fires a plasma blast at Stoick, who manages to push Hiccup away and is killed instead. Hiccup, shocked to believe that his father has been killed, blindly yells at Toothless who got released from the Bewilderbeast's control to go away and leave them alone.

Hiccup, Valka, Gobber, Astrid, and the other Riders hold a funeral for Stoick where Hiccup says his last wishes to his father. It seems that all hope is lost, as Drago and his Bewilderbeast freeze Berk, but Hiccup becomes inspired by his mother's words, and is now determined to avenge his father and continue his legacy and get his best friend back. Flying back to Berk on baby dragons, he quickly arrives to face Drago and tries to disenchant Toothless saying he knows Toothless would never hurt him or Stoick willingly, which he amazingly succeeds. Now, Hiccup and Toothless manage to fend off Drago and his Bewilderbeast and concludes that it's over, unaware that the Bewilderbeast has them in its sights and fires at them, encasing them in a huge blast of ice. Drago feels victorious, but the huge ice explodes and discovers that Hiccup and Toothless are unharmed. Toothless, now glowing with plasma, challenges the Alpha to protect his Rider. Toothless simultaneously fires plasma blast and frees the other dragons, who are touched by the bond between him and Hiccup. Drago is shocked to believe this. Hiccup orders Drago to stand down and let this end, but Drago strongly refuses and orders his Bewilderbeast to attack but unable to as all the dragons fire at it. Toothless fires one last plasma blast which massively explodes, destroying on of the Bewilderbeast's tusks, and defeating it at the same time. The Bewilderbeast retreats to the ocean, along with Drago.

Finally, the fight is over and Toothless is acknowledged as the new Alpha. At the same time, Hiccup now crowned as the new Chief of Berk by Gothi the Elder. The dragons and villagers celebrate, and Hiccup continues his father's legacy by building a statue in his honor. Hiccup proudly announces that they may be a small community but are capable of maintaining peace and can stop those who oppose, and they have something that even the greatest invaders don't have: they may have armies and armadas but Berk has their own dragons.

HOW YOU ARE
Brief Description He has jet-black scales covering his whole body, his sides having small light patches in a pattern similar to that of a manta ray. Toothless possesses two sets of wings (one main pair and one smaller pair near the base of his tail). He is missing the left side of his tail-fin, which he lost when Hiccup took Toothless down with his Mangler.
This is later replaced by a mechanical fin that Hiccup constructs himself. Toothless has a rather large scar on his right shoulder/neck which is around a foot in length with a width of about an inch. Toothless's eyes are a bright green. They are located very near the front of his face giving him excellent depth perception and reflexes in flight. He can narrow his pupils to slits when threatened or angry, similar to that of a cat. But when he is docile or happy, his pupils dilate and become more dog-like. Toothless gets his name from his sets of retractable teeth.

Any other forms -
If yes, describe -

WHO YOU ARE
Personality Toothless is very intelligent and seems to have a dry sense of humor, similar to Hiccup's, which he may have picked up from Hiccup. He doesn't take kindly to being offended or anyone offending or endangering his human friend but is usually playful, docile, maybe even a little teasing when not threatened. He also shows a great curiosity, imitating Hiccup's actions and mannerisms when they initially encounter one another like when he was observing Hiccup draw him, he then tries to draw with a tree branch. Toothless' intelligence shows many times, being able to understand Hiccup's words and commands as well as agree with some of what he says. It is shown that he has become aware of Hiccup's crush on Astrid, even seeming to briefly tease him about it.

Toothless actually can get display a bit of an attitude. He gives a Terrible Terror an extremely snide look when it is challenging him to a fight. He clearly understands his own strength, and is not always humble about it.

He isn't intimidated by Astrid and walks off with a sort of shoulder shrug and eye roll when she threatens to expose Hiccup's and Toothless's friendship to Stoick. He certainly displays an independent attitude when he takes both Hiccup and Astrid on a roller-coaster ride directly after Hiccup tells Astrid that he is harmless. Toothless does not seem to agree with Hiccup on that point. Toothless also smacks two Outcast guards with his tail as he leaves his cell to look for Hiccup. This attitude is usually hidden under his docile nature, but it comes out in comical ways from time to time.

Hiccup and Toothless share an unrivaled bond of friendship with one another. Hiccup refers to Toothless as his best friend often throughout the franchise, and even Astrid refers to him as that. The two spend almost all of their time together in the events following the movie. None of the other Dragons are shown to have quite as much loyalty as Toothless. He is protective, supporting, and caring towards his rider. He's not just an amazing pet; he is Hiccup's closest friend.

Skills/Powers
Intelligence and Communication Skills: He is extremely intelligent and can almost completely understand everything said to him. He also seems to be able to command other Dragons to an extent. He is an incredibly strategic thinker. Toothless also seems to be one of the few dragons who attempts to show creativity. Toothless has been trained, by Hiccup, to comprehend silent commands via hand signals and motions.
Speed and Acrobatics: He is the fastest flier among the Dragons, with the Skrill second and Typhoomerang third. The Art of How to Train Your Dragon book notes that he can fly over one hundred miles per hour. He keeps up with Hiccup easily in a free fall, and humans reach terminal velocity at around one hundred and fifty miles per hour. He is the only Dragon so far to be able to do a vertical takeoff. Even when not flying he can tear along the ground at terrific speeds. His jumping abilities are phenomenal. It was demonstrated several times he has a very flexible body. Toothless have shown possessing remarkable agility in flight as well as on land. He is very likely one of the most agile Dragons on land and was shown being able to leap from trees, boulders, walls, etc. Valka demonstrated that the fins on his back can split into another set of fins, making Toothless even more aerodynamic and better at mastering tight turns. Toothless was able to fly blindfolded.
Strength: Toothless has shown to be very strong for a Dragon of his size, as he has been seen defeating Dragons bigger then him, such as Monstrous Nightmares and Whispering Deaths. He has been seen carrying heavy objects, such as boulders and barrels with his front legs. He can also carry adult Vikings, such as Stoick and Alvin with the small extra weight of Hiccup on his back. He was able to carry Stoick, who weighs 400 pounds, for an entire day before getting completely exhausted, although he found this very tiring and was unwilling to repeat it.
Retractable Teeth: As a Night Fury , Toothless has the ability to retract his teeth. This unique trait can make him appear to be toothless, hence his name.
Senses: He is shown to have an uncannily great sense of hearing. This good sense of hearing plays into his ability to use a sonar. He also seems to have the ability of night vision.
Stealth and Camouflage:Toothless' black scales and extreme speed make him hard to notice, especially at night. This was demonstrated when confronting the Flightmare.
Plasma Blast: Toothless is also able to shoot several forms of fire His signature attack is dive bombing where he dives at great speed and then fires a precise and very powerful blast. He can also weaken his blasts enough to use them for non-violent purposes (like knocking people out of trees).
Echolocation: for night navigation
Swimming: Toothless is a great swimmer, and has saved Hiccup from drowning several times in the process. He has also been seen sea skimming from one island to another.
Sea skimming: A particular way of swimming that, according to Hiccup, "it's like flying... but not." To perform this, Toothless dives and jumps out of the water continuously. This ability doesn't require for Toothless to be ridden by anyone, he can do this all by himself.
Synchronization: Thanks to the time they used the prosthetic tail-fin, Toothless and Hiccup are able to fly together in perfect sync. Not only that, but they also understand each other the best out of all Dragons and riders, which was demonstrated several times.
"Flaps" on back: Toothless' hidden ability, that was unknown even to himself. Revealed by Valka, those leathery flaps are flat fins-like spikes, placed in "V" shape and extending from his back, to the end of the tail. They gave him more maneuverability and control in flight, almost like a second tail.
Titan Wing/Alpha Mode: Toothless is able to "charge" himself in some way, it gives him more strength, stronger fire with seemingly no limit, and the ability to not only withstand an Alpha's control, but command other dragons as well. This also gave him the more menacing look, with back, nose and mouth glowing blue color similar to his fire, probably because of amount and strength of this fire inside Toothless. This gave him the ability to challenge the Alpha and stand his own against it. It also gave the Night Fury species to become an Alpha Species.

Weaknesses Toothless has a huge dislike(and fear) for eels, making him recoil if brought close to him. He has a sweet spot under his chin which makes him collapse if squeezed. He is not fireproof inwards, so getting shot at into a wound will injure him greatly. He is easily subdued by the smell of catnip.

HOW YOU HAVE BEEN
History Hiccup shoots Toothless down with his mangler cannon when Toothless dive bombs another one of Berk's catapults. Toothless is caught in the bola and falls shrieking from the sky. During the crash, Toothless loses his left tail-fin, leaving him forever crippled from natural flight. He lays unconscious in the woods tangled in the cords of the bola until Hiccup discovers him.
Toothless stares deeply into Hiccup as the boy prepares to kill him. The boy is shocked to see how frightened the mighty creature is. Hiccup is unable to kill Toothless, so instead he begins to cut the ropes.

As soon as he is free, Toothless whips around, grabs Hiccup by the neck, and pins him to the ground. Toothless stares frighteningly at Hiccup, and the boy prepares for the worst. Toothless rears back, but instead of killing Hiccup, he roars loudly at him and then tries to fly lopsidedly out of sight. Toothless' sparing of Hiccup was unbelievable, Toothless finds himself trapped in the cove. He is unable to fly and therefore unable to escape. Hiccup sees him attempting to catch fish but failing. Toothless hears Hiccup dropping his pencil and notices Hiccup watching him, but remains passive.
Hiccup later returns, and Toothless is waiting on him. He has perched himself on a high rock, and he watches as Hiccup looks around for him. Toothless reveals himself, and does not attack Hiccup, though he growls in suspicion and distrust. Hiccup tosses his dagger away, and then offers Toothless a fish he has brought. The hungry Dragon drops his frightening attitude, and much to Hiccup's surprise has no teeth. Hiccup soon discovers that Toothless does indeed have teeth when the Dragon lunges forward and snatches the fish.

After interacting He finds himself right up against the dragon. Hiccup reaches forward, and Toothless gives him one last skeptical growl. Hiccup recoils, but only for a moment. Hiccup then closes his eyes trusting Toothless with his outreached right hand. The Dragon senses this trust, and is just as amazed with Hiccup as Hiccup had been with him. Toothless leans his head forward and touches his snout gently to Hiccup's hand. The two bond for a moment, and then Toothless rushes off yet again, leaving Hiccup to try and take in the depth of the moment.
Hiccup later begins to work on a new tail fin for Toothless. The first flight they have, Toothless is extremely excited to be airborne again, but he is not keen on having a rider. He tosses Hiccup off but only then realizes that the tail-fin will not work unless Hiccup is operating it. Hiccup designs tail-fin after tail-fin, and each attempt brings the boy and Dragon closer.

By the time they do their first real test flight, Hiccup and Toothless are mostly in sync. Hiccup still has a little trouble with the tail movements, but when he accidentally falls off, he and Toothless are put onto a crash course into a huge array of rocks at breakneck speed. The two then snap into focus with one another, and they blast through the rocks swerving, ducking, and doing barrel rolls.

The flight is a huge success and both Hiccup and Toothless are ecstatic over it (until Toothless accidentally burns Hiccup). They share a meal with each other afterwards, and Toothless again tries to give Hiccup regurgitated fish.
When Hiccup unknowingly leads Astrid to the cove, Toothless shows his protective side by assuming that she is a threat. Only through Hiccup's words does he manage to calm down enough, although still being wary.

When Astrid threatens to tell the village, Toothless and Hiccup abducts her and strands her on a tree to stop her. Even though Hiccup invites her to a flight to show Toothless is not dangerous, the Night Fury isn't convinced that she can be trusted and pulls off daring acrobatic moves (corkscrews, loop-de-loops, etc.), not to throw her off, but just to terrify her (which indicates that he may not be as dependent on Hiccup for flying as first assumed)
Unfortunately, Toothless's old ties to the Dragon society make a frightening return. Toothless flies into a fog bank with both teens on his back. They find themselves in the middle of a huge flock of Dragons that are carrying great amounts of carrion and food. Hiccup thinks the Dragons are hauling in their kill and Astrid nervously wonders whether Toothless intends to haul them in with the rest. Toothless and the Dragons zig-zag through the fog until they reach a giant volcanic mountain.

The Dragons dive into a series of tunnels in the side, and Hiccup and Astrid soon find themselves flying above a massive cavern filled with red smoke. The dragons drop hundreds of dead animals into a huge hole in the middle of the cavern. Toothless looks nervously down into it before landing. He continues to look tensely around until a lone Gronckle donates a single fish. This provokes the monstrous Red Death to emerge from the hole and devour it. Astrid and Hiccup are both in shock, and Toothless soon sees that he too is in danger.

Toothless then rockets out of the mountain along with the entire herd of terrified Dragons. Upon returning Toothless takes a long drink from the pond while Hiccup and Astrid try to make a plan.

Toothless senses another threat the next day when he hears Hiccup screaming from afar. Realizing he is in danger, Toothless manages to claw his way out of the cove (for the first time on his own) and immediately rushes to Hiccup's side to protect him from the Dragon he is supposed to kill. He refuses to leave his friend's side when the Vikings eventually get in on the fight and gang up on him, managing to fight them off and have Stoick at the mercy of his flames. Only when Hiccup yells at him to stop does he let his guard down long enough to be captured.

Toothless is chained up and used as a compass to reach the Dragon's Nest. However, as he observes the other Dragons flying away, he begins desperately trying to free himself as The Red Death suddenly bursts out of the Nest. The ship he's chained to is set alight, and he is thrown into the water when the ship breaks up. Hiccup dives into the water in a desperate attempt to free Toothless, but passes out from lack of air. Just then, Stoick dives in to save Hiccup first, then he dives back in to break Toothless free, to which Toothless grabs Stoick to swiftly take him back out of the water.

Hiccup then mounts Toothless and they both fly into the air to take down the Red Death. The two soon have the enormous dragon chasing them into the clouds, where while the Red Death loses sight of them, Toothless blasts holes through the Red Death's wings. As the Red Death then blows fire everywhere in the sky, Toothless' prosthetic tail-fin catches fire, and Hiccup and Toothless decide to dive towards the ground, with the Red Death still chasing after them, during which the enormous dragon prepares to finish them off by charging a most powerful fiery blast. Just as they are closer to the ground, Toothless fires one more plasma blast into the Red Death's mouth, and he and Hiccup fly upwards to escape as the Red Death crashes to the ground and destroyed in a fiery explosion.
While escaping a fireball from the explosion, Hiccup and Toothless get struck by the Red Death's tail, resulting in Hiccup getting knocked off from Toothless' back and free-falling into the fireball. Seeing his human friend falling to his fiery death, Toothless bravely dives into the exploding body of the Red Death to save Hiccup, wrapping him in his wings to protect him as they land, showing that Toothless's bond with Hiccup is very strong indeed.

Toothless gains a new tail-fin at the end of the film, given to him by Gobber, and takes off into the skies with Hiccup once again.

By the second movie, Hiccup and Toothless have taken to exploring the areas beyond Berk, as well as experimenting with a glide-suit that Hiccup has developed that allows him to fly alongside Toothless (An adjustment to Toothless' tailfin allowing him to maintain a glide on his own, although he still cannot steer).

On one of these missions, they encounter Hiccup's long-lost mother, Valka, who reveals a series of hidden "spikes" on Toothless' back, that even the Dragon didn't know about - most likely because he lacked other Night Furies to show them to him - which he can subsequently extend at will to increase his maneouverability in the air. These "spikes" are flat, leathery flaps, placed in 'V' shape and extending from his back to the end of his tail, shortly after the saddle.
When Hiccup attempts to confront Drago Bludvist and his Alpha Bewilderbeast, he is unprepared for the Bewilderbeast's Alpha Dragon 'status', which allows it to take control of Toothless on Drago's orders.

Toothless, now under a zombie-like trance, is ordered to kill Hiccup, but Stoick saves Hiccup at the cost of his own life. In pain and grief, Hiccup initially rejects Toothless when the Dragon regains his own mind, allowing Drago to use his Bewilderbeast to take control of all the Dragons and lead them to Berk, even riding on Toothless personally.

However, when Drago arrives back at Berk, he finds Hiccup and the other Riders already present, having managed to return home by riding the baby Scuttleclaws that are outside the control of the Alpha. Still mocking Hiccup's beliefs in how to train Dragons, Drago allows Hiccup a chance to 'talk' to Toothless, only to be shocked when Hiccup's words and his bond with Toothless allow him to break the Alpha's control. Returned to himself and guided by Hiccup's words, Toothless not only charges a plasma bolt that saves

Having enough of the Bewilderbeast threatening his human family, Toothless challenges the Alpha
him and Hiccup from being frozen by the Bewilderbeast's ice, but subsequently challenges the Bewilderbeast directly, breaking its hold on the other Dragons and rallying them to aid him. After the Bewilderbeast is forced to retreat after Toothless breaks one of its tusks, the assembled Dragons all acknowledge Toothless as their new Alpha, recognizing Toothless as a worthy guardian as opposed to the fear and authority maintained by Drago's Bewilderbeast.
