((As fun as it is creating monsters, I’m sure that people wish to ensue their own plots. So lets put an end to this arc.))
Kankure hopped pole to pole, climbing higher as fast as possible. The tower almost seemed never ending, reaching on well into the sky. The mod could hear Glas tear it’s sword from the earth and it’s steps vibrate the earth. If one could call the miserable black rock ‘earth’. Glas snarled at Sebastian, it’s short gray feathers twitching in agitation as it brought it’s sword down, the cleaver tearing into the earth and hopefully the well-dressed demon.
Dante pulled himself to his feet, walking across the disfigured roof, stepping over cracks without a care. But he paused when he felt something pleasant tingle across his form. “…What?” he raised his hands to see his fingers dissipating like ash. That couldn’t be good. A white light glowed within and Dante knew what was going on… “Damnable brats.” He seethed, spreading a pair of wings, ready to take flight. But instead his dark form dissolved and the bright light hovered inches above the roof. Tendrils of light came from it, forming the shape that of a wolf with brilliant shining blue eyes.
Without hesitation, the manifestation soul of Kankure bolted across the structure, tendrils of light spilling from it’s form (you can’t really call a ball of light a he, can you?). It’s front paws met with the edge, followed by it’s back ones. And it vaulted off the side, pushing away from the structure, as not to be impaled by the metal rods bellow. The mod soul inhabiting Kankure’s body looked up when he saw the brilliant tendrils of light. The soul fell fast, as if it’s body was afflicted by the natural laws of gravity. The mod soul sprung off the side of the tower, hand grasped out.
The two passed into each other, the mod soul being rejected from the body in an explosion of white particles. The rules of gravity still applied as Kankure started to free fall, hands at his sides and eyes closed. Before he hit the ground, it was as if gravity had stopped. Kankure flipped upright and lightly touched the ground. His cloths and hair softly ruffling in an unperceived wind. He opened his eyes, brilliant light blue orbs shining behind his white lashes. The bright color wore down and returned to his normal royal blue color.
His eyes looked out to see Glas being attacked by metal chains. The rugged heavy metal shooting forth from the earth as it began to crumble under the monster and take it back down to the depth bellow the hard surface. Glas’ protests echoed from bellow until there was silence in the black hole. Kankure blinked and rubbed his head, having a headache.
