"Hm?" I spun around to see a girl with dark hair, I liked talking to others but I didn't have a lot of conversations lately. "Oh, Hello." I said lightly as a smile spread across my face. "I don't think we've talked before." I spoke as I tried to remember if I'd seen her before. I glanced over at the climbing wall. "Were you headed over there?" I ask. The climbing wall was nearly empty, which was weird because it's probably one of the funnest things to do, other than running around in the forest that is.

I watched as she climbed the wall easily, it made sense that she was a daughter of Athena, the way she navigated the wall and it's challenges with ease. I wasn't particularly a fan of the goddess, though I didn't have anything against this camper yet, so I figured I would give her a chance. I climbed the wall as well, I had gotten too good at it. At this point it wasn't even a challenge. I climbed to the top and stood next to her. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Ian, son of Tyche." I told her smiling. I glanced over at camp. From here it barley looked like anything, but it was home. "So, I guess you read a lot then Elyana?" I asked, prepairing to do a cartwheel.

I'd never thought about it much, but I guess she was right. Demi-gods always ended up being similar in some way to their godly parent, with Athena it was books and stuff. I'd always thought books were so dull though, I had never even bothered with them. I smirked as she jumped off the climbing wall, that was defiantly my style. "Alright then" I called back, a confident smile on my face. I cartwheeled over the edge, also managing a few flips before I landed next to Elyana. I'd gotten used to the landing by now, there was still a slight pressure in my knee. "You're pretty cool." I told Elyana "Most campers don't have the guts to jump off." I said. I guess it was a compliment, though It was rare I give them. She really wasn't so bad through.

Personality: While most might expect Xander to be as brutish as his siblings, he actually has a much quieter demeanor. He cares little for glory, preferring instead to let others shine, and has a penchant for being more of a lone wolf. Xander creates the image of a perfect warrior, one who is not distracted by his emotions when confronted with battle, but this is merely a façade used to hide his true nature. At the very core of his being lies a selfless individual that cares deeply for his friends and fellow demigods. It is unknown how Xander truly feels about his father, as he doesn't really know much about Ares. He just feels there has to be something more to the god beyond what is commonly shown, for his mother would never fallen for a common brute.
Strengths: Xander has the abilities of most children of Ares. He has enhanced strength, agility, and combat skills and is a natural at using any weapon he might pick up. He is an expert in war strategies and has the ability to curse the weapons of his opponents.
Weaknesses: Xander's greatest weakness is his overwhelming selflessness. No matter who is in trouble or what danger he may have to face, this son of Ares will throw himself into battle solely for the sake of others. He does, of course, play this off by making himself appear to be more interested in the battle itself.

"Ah, stealing peoples things." I repeat with a smirk on my face. I'd rarely heard of children of Athena thieving anything, even though it was quite average for Hermes children to do, so this was quite interesting. I was caught off guard by her next comment, I had guessed she might not like my mother very much and I really didn't like hers, but I didn't think she would actually say anything about it. "Oh, well thanks. It's good to know you don't." I said still smiling. "But luck can be a good thing too sometimes."

I laughed lightly "Suuureee." I said in a sarcastic tone. "I guess you should never be out of practice for something like that." I spoke with a wink. "I rely on luck a lot, I'm not dead yet. I'll just keep with that trend for now." I said, slowly realizing I sounded like I was getting a bit defensive. "I mean I can do things without luck, uh, it just helps me you know in challenging situations.." I sighed. "Anyway, things don't always go to plan either. That's when luck can be especially helpful."

"Yeah, I've heard it." I said. It seemed really interesting to me. "Drama and weirdness sounds pretty good right now if you ask me. I'd actually like to be a part of the prophecy." I replied gazing into the forest. "It sounds pretty fun to go on an adventure, it's not very fun to sit around all day here in camp." I smiled "Maybe I'll get lucky." I don't know why I always liked taking risks, maybe it was because of my past or just because I wanted the fun. But this prophecy would defiantly give me something to do.
