Tristan quickly paid for two rooms at the front desk becore returning to Kurai. "Here is your room key. Mine is right next door so if you need something, just knock"

Cormick's eyes widened as Christine's second attack hit him squarely in the chest, sending a chilling blast of magic through his body and reeling backwards. No wonder his shield befo hate shattred, the girl's punch wasn't exactly snow soft. The young man struggled to regain his footing.

Having searched most of the area without so much as a hint of who or what could be the answer to the missing children of the city, the teen decided she'd been on a wild goose chase long enough. It was time to call in a little back up and Lena had just the back up in mind. The was the risk of her plan not working but it was either do something or wonder aimlessly around the city all night at this point. She reached for the pouch resting against her left hip when her eyes shot forward narrowing. Spinning around on her heels facing back the way she had come,"Allright I know youre around here. Why dont you stop creeping around in the shadows and let's introduce ourselves?"

A hooded man walked through the empty city, cowl pulled low over his face to hide any distinguishing features. At his side swung a sheathed blade that seemed to be wrapped up tightly so that it could not be pulled out and pointed at a random individual. Layfon had come to this town after hearing that children here were going missing every night. While it didn't scream Dark Guild, he could tell that an ignoble mage was behind everything. As such, he was searching for the culprit so that when the identity of the man or woman was discovered, they would face judgment on the end of his blade. No evil would ever escape his sight, and no misdeed would ever go unpunished. Many dark mages had died by his blade, and this would be no exception and no strange occurrence in his life.

Christine's eyes widened with excitement as Cormick stumbled back and tried to regain his footing. "Need a brake?"

Tristan nodded to Kurai before walking to his room and opening the door. "We can leave in a few minutes to go ask people about this beast that we have to hunt down"
