Veronica was standing a bit ways from the school, staring at it. Knight was balanced perfectly on her shoulder. "Now, Veronica," the cat began, "nobody here knows you, so let's try not to make any enemies while we're here." "Sadly, I'll have to agree with the rabies-infested mammal." The owl, Talon, who was sitting on the opposite shoulder of Knight, hooted. Veronica gave a silent sigh and walked towards the school, carrying her broom.

Sereena Set down the paintbrush, a little peeved about whatever was on her mind. Many students and teachers that she knew had left. Only about a handful of familiar people had stayed. She took a deep breath and hopped down from the new art teacher's desk, shifting into wolf form as soon as she touched the ground. Making her way through the front doors of the school, her eyes shifted toward a new student. An owl sat on one shoulder while a cat on the other. She gave a sharp gaze toward the girl, passing her without a word. Deciding to just take a stroll to keep her mind off of the Tornado, she hurriedly, passed others without a care.

Hatori took a quick swig of his water, juggling a dagger in one hand as he smiled to himself. "Nicely done, Hatori. You outdid yourself, this time" he spoke to himself, mocking that of high authority. He smiled quietly to himself in slight sadness. Ever since the Tornado hit, the school hadn't been the same. He pulled off another smile and his ears perked at the sound of the gym doors opening. "Well if it isn't for my favorite set of twins" he joked with a grin. "Ready for a fresh start?"

"ready to get your butt whooped?" Shifty replied with a smirk. Lifty smiled and waved to the teacher. "it's good to see you again Mr. Hatori." he said warmly. Shifty then hopped on over and plopped an arms around the teachers shoulder. "been a while since we last saw you, too long for my taste." the older twin said rather happily with a chuckle. He had changed a bit since then, though only seemed to be more friendly toward people he knew, and was still a little cold around new people. Lifty soon joined after and wrapped his arm over the other shoulder of the teacher, overlapping Shifty's arm. "how are you and miss Trinity? did she have the twins yet?" he asked, a little excited and curious to know. Shifty wouldn't admit it, but him and his brother had been looking forward to meeting the 'little twins' as they called them, and possibly babysit them once the kids got old enough.

The neko smiled brightly. "Likewise" he hummed toward the more reasonable twin. His smile broke for a minute, eyes getting sad. "The twins are doing just fine. As for Trinity, well...She's been getting really sick" Hatori mumbled rocking on his heels. "She'll be good in no time though!" Hopefully. He reached out suddenly and flipped Shifty onto his back, keeping him from standing up with a foot on his stomach. "Rusty there, Shifty. Might wanna get back into shape" he teased, crossing his arms above his chest. He allowed the twin underneath him to go free before pacing back and forth. "So much to do, and the new students are already here" he worriedly spoke under his breath, tossing a towel aside on the bleachers as if it'd clean the whole gym.

The boy flinched and let out a pained gasp, causing Lifty to quickly come to his aid. 'h-hey, easy now ... i still got that back wound ... r-remember?" Shifty chuckled weakly, now trying to regain his breath. "still going to physio for it." He was soon helped up and Lifty sadly looked over to the teacher. "If you need any help taking care of things, we'd be more then happy to help Mr Hatori ... your kinda like family to us, at least as much as a teacher can be to a student." he chuckled softly.
