Mia strolled to the Great Hall and sat next to Sarah, piling some mashed potatoes on her plate. Listening to Dumbledore speak, she noticed a girl sitting next to Sarah. "H,." Mia introduced herself, "my name's Mia. What's yours?"

The sixth year frowned and looked at Mia. " I'm Ellie." She said, wrapping her robes thigh tear around herself to keep warmer from her bathing suit underneath. " Nice to meet you, Mia."

Sami sighed and ate some food at the Hufflepuff table.

Rosalyn was thinning about what Dumbledore had said as she quietly ate some of the food. Although she didn't feel very hungry, she still couldn't help but taste all of the food. 'Great,' she thought to herself as she mentally sighed, 'an event that I most likely won't be able to go to.' She poked at some of her food as she continued to think.

When Dumbledore announced the ball, she didnt know what to say. Eve was stunned. She wondered who she would go with. Seh poked her chicken with a fork. She wasnt really hungry, so she walked outside. She didnt even know if she was going.

Finn was a little suprised at the mention of the ball. He had almost forgot that every year they either have a Chrismas or Holloween ball. Finn turned and was about to say something to Hazel before he was interrupted by a Slytherin. Finn scowled but then blinked as something went flying past his face hitting the Slytherin on his nose "Back off. As you can see she already has a boyfriend, or are you just to stupid to notice?" Adam said sending a glare towards the Slytherin. Finn glanced at his brother in suprise.

The Slytherin went go slug Finn a black eye when a spoonful of food spattered across his face and he fell onto the stone floor. Hazel gasped slightly, looking back and forth to see who had done it. Needless to say she was quite astounded when it turned out to be Adam. She was grateful for what he had done, and she gave a small smile, not knowing whether or not Adam was just doing the right thing or if this was his way of forgiving the two from the previous incident.

Eve sat down with her back to the trunk of a tree and practiced levitating spells on leaves. She knew that Finn was asking Hazel and that was about it. nobody will ask you said the negitive part of her brain and for once, her positive side agreed. She needed to study anyway.
