The Queen's vision continued to blur and get poorer. She lent against a tree for support, and was feeling very sick.

[herondale.]

Alex placed the book under a stone inside a bush. He then ran back round the castle, through the maze and back across the front. He saw his mother leaning against a tree and he ran over.

[Crabbiey]

The Queen looked up at Alex, bleary-eyed, before fainting on the floor.

[herondale.]

Alex ran to her and grabbed her as she fell to the floor. He tilted her head and saw the fresh bite marks that were on his fathers neck when he'd found Siona feasting on him. He groaned loudly and picked his mother up. He quickly ran inside and laid her on her bed.

[Crabbiey]

The Queen's eyes opened slightly and looked at Alex, but he was all out of focus and blurry. Only his scent told her that this was her son. She had lost a lot of blood. If nothing was done she would die the same way as her husband; by blood loss, caused by Siona.

[herondale.]

Alex was beyond frustrated. He knew she need blood. He stormed down to The Cages. His eyes were partially glowing. He grabbed a random woman and dragged her up the stairs. He didn't care that he was pulling her hair to get her to move. He ran up the stairs and towards his mothers room. He slammed the girl to the ground. He was too angry to care about her feelings but his mothers.

The Queen rolled over, looking at the Human, but she was too weak to do anything. Utterly helpless.

[herondale.]

Alex snarled and pulled the girl up. He dug his nail into her neck and made a small insition for his mother to drink from. He picked the girl up and laid her before his mothers mouth. The girl struggled in his arms but he held her still.

[Crabbiey]

The Queen shifted a bit closer before pressing her mouth to the cut. She drank slowly, her eyes were barely open.

[herondale.]

Alex held the girl limply in his arms as she began to stop struggling. He laid it closer to his mother. Siona was going to pay for this.
