Hunter or Hunted? (Vampire/Medieval Roleplay)-Accepting!

Summer screamed as he bit her, writhing in pain. As he pulled back, she sunk to a sitting position, her breath ragged. There were millions of ways she could respond to that question, but she kept silent, panting and glaring up at him. She pressed her hand to her neck, fingering the wound.

"Glaring isn't gonna stop the change you'll go through," Kiro cooed in a rather light tone. He was just joking about him changing her, though. He just thought her reaction would be priceless. "You'll be a cold-hearted demon likes yours truly here in a few hours." His ruby eyes flickered with an amusing sparkle.

Summer simply stopped breathing. Nothing went out or in. She locked eyes with him, completly still. She felt like she'd be sick. Something about the way he said it was the slightest bit attractive to her, but that was at the back of her mind. Her thoughts wirled. She didn't want this. She hadn't asked for this. If she could have just been at home with her family. But they were dead, and in her mind, she would be soon.

Kiro just burst out laughing. Her expression was rather funny to him. She totally believed him. "Jeez, I was only kidding," he chuckled, watching her intently. Of course, he wasn't really expecting her to laugh along with him, as if it was a common trick to play on someone. "You won't die either. Neck might ache for a while since I bit down rather hard, but nothing more than that."

Face burning in embarassment, Summer stared at the ground. She became curious. There was a vampire in front of her, and her best idea had been to scowl. "How often do you have to feed then?" Using the term feed caused her to shutter, but the answer seemed worth it. She slid back up the wall, into a standing position. A hand went to her neck, trying to soothe the pain that sparked from moving it.

"Eh. Not often," Kiro replied with a small shrug as he shoved his hands into his pockets. "Once or twice a day, depending on how much blood we take from our victims. Sadly, my stomach is a bottomless pit and I eat whenever I have time to." He studied her for a brief moment. "And, you happened to be my victim this time. All because you chose to come down through the alleys instead of the street."

Summer made a face, but covered it up just as quickly. "You chose me because I came down this alley? Id come down here to get away from you...just in case..." she shook her head clearing her thoughts. She was slightly amused at her misfortune. Just something she'd end up in the middle of.

((Thought it'd be interesting if she crushed on kiro. Nice little twist. Lol. What do you think, though?))

(Ha, it would be interesting. I don't mind if she crushes on him. He might be rather oblivious to it for a while, though.)

Kiro rose a brow as he leaned up against one of the two brick walls of the alley. "You were better off blending in with the crowd. I give up on chases if I can't find the person in a mob, and turn to someone else." He ruffled up his hair absentmindedly and kicked one of her coins in her direction. The gold coin rolled to her feet before falling into the dirt. "Hmph. Money?" He didn't own a penny. He never needed it to survive. "It has no use to me, and I'm sure it has more use for you. Just take what you threw at me back." He leaned down and scooped up the rest in his hands before holding them out to her.

Summer laughed a bit at herself as she took the coins. "Yeah, I'm real dangerous. Ill throw my money at you if you scare me." She smiled at him, not knowing why. She was actually dumbfounded that she was still there with someone who had just bitten her, but something kept her.

((This could be funny. But I gtg. Its 11:30 where I am. My moms gunna kill me. Lol.))

Kiro chuckled when she said that. "I'm afraid that won't work on us vampires. Silver coins might have an affect on werewolves, though. Since they die by silver." He rubbed the back of his neck and yawned. He never slept much, and did pretty well on just an hour of sleep a night. "Might leave bruises on my species, but not much more than that." He watched Summer intently. "Though, we die by the traditional way. Wooden stake to the heart. Garlic might keep a few of us away, though we might be developing a resistance to the rancid smell."
