As Piper laid sunning herself on the shore, she could hear the chirping and rapid twittering of the songbirds sitting in their perches. The sun felt warm against her skin, but she forced herself to sit up once more. She looked around, her eyes refocusing as the sun had temporarily blinded her. She blinked rapidly until she could now see clearly, then stood up, walking over to the lake. She walked into the lake until she was ankle deep. The water was soothing and warm, so she went further into the lake until she was up to her waist, nearly getting tackled by one of her friends.

Clara laughed, taking his hand. "Brilliant idea," she smiled. When she stood up, she let go of his hand to ensure both of them that she was not flirting or anything. She was in a great mood, now that she had experienced it again as well as forgotten it for a while. Somewhere in her head, a voice kept nagging her that it would be back, but Clara ignored it. The day had gotten brighter and a few small storm clouds weren't going to ruin it.

Soren was outside, with Silvia padding behind him. He chose to go to the owlry and read. Soren preferred the soft hooting and humming of the owlry compared to the sounds of people laughing, yelling and talking. He got to the owlry, passing three girls on his way, and sat down by the window. Some were by the lake, some were heading inside, and some were in the lake swimming. Silvia padded off again, and Soren opened his book, settling down to read it.

Aiden stretched a bit and looked up and down the corridor. Shaking out his arms, he looked back to Clara. "Where to?" he asked her in a pippy matter with a smile. He had practically walked all over the castle by now today and didn't particularly care where they went. He wouldn't of cared either way in fact, he loved walking around you see. It gave him a chance to catch up on what news was going around, chances to get into trouble, prank from friends as he passed on through. It was all good fun to him.

Clara shrugged. "I dunno... d'you want to just kinda walk around?" She looked around. Clara truly didn't care where they went, she was content with going anywhere. She wondered what time it was and looked out the window. Daylight. Must be sometime in the afternoon.

Soren Loctus-17-7th year-Ravenclaw-open
Soren was distracted from his book when a bunch of owls flew in. One of them landed on his shoulder, it was a saw-whet. The owl wasn't a school owl, but rather a student's. Soren had this strange way with owls, and he could mimic some owl-like noises. He stroked the saw-whet, and it purred but then flew away. Soren smiled as the owl flew off.

Aiden shrugged right back at her. "I don't see why not," he replied with a small smirked. He then pivoted around his heel and casually begun to stride down the corridor. "So what year are you? I'm seventh," he spoke after a moment, deciding they might as well get to know each other a bit. After all, what else were taking walks with people good for?

Clara strode beside Aiden leisurely. "I'm in my sixth," she smiled. It was mostly quiet in the corridors, and Clara was thankful for it. She did not enjoy large crowds and noises as much as her housemates. "Favorite animal? Mine's the Phoenix," she looked at Aiden.

They went to check the owlry, wondering if their parent's owls came to give them a letter.There was someone else in the owlry who was reading.
