Percy moved towards the wall, making sure to keep Piper no more than an arms length away. He smiled down at her "Me too. And I'm glad I got to sped it with such an amazing girl" he said kissing Piper's forehead. He saw a few first years stare then wrinkle their noses and run away. He laughed at them, remembering when he was a first year and felt the same way.

Eliza could just give a nod to this. Amigus's amazed her. She has always wanted to know there tricks and how they even became one "I think its amazing" she whispered, her breath showing from the cold. "But why are you showing me...out of all people?" she asked quietly, not that she wasn't glad he ad shown her but Elizabeth had learned over the years that being a curios person was better than a person who didn't think at all.

Clara sat, staring into the lake when something nudged her. She turned her eyes to see a creature looking at her with curiosity. Clara calmed down when she recalled it being a thestral. She slowly stroked the animal's muzzle and figured out it was a young one. Clara stood up to see the thestral better and saw the missing wing. She smiled sympathetically. Clara looked it in the eyes. "Mira," she said softly. Surprisingly the thestral responded. Clara stroked its muzzle again, hoping no one else has seen death before.

Arabella changed out of her dress and decided to go walking around the grounds. She sees a girl with a thestral and decides to walk over. "There amazing creatures aren't they." Arabella smiles walking up next to the girl. She looks at the thestral.

Clara was amazed that the thestral had approached. She heard a voice beside her and looked toward it. It was a girl, also a Gryffindor. Clara looked back at Mira. "Yeah, Mira is a beautiful being. I wonder if I can ask one of the teachers if she can stay at Hogwarts. Mira can't survive in the wild, since one of her wings is missing," she said excitedly. She absolutely loved animals. "I'm Clara, by the way," she introduced herself.
