Jess finished her book and sighed. she had absolutely nothing to do. she desided to get some sleep early and went to the girl's dorms. she got into bed and her cat nix jumped up on the bed. jess smiled and pet the white cat. she sighed and fell asleep.

Connor smiled. "don't worry. it's fine." he said taking a sip of punch. he looked around then closed his eyes. he smiled and opened them. " i want to show you something. come on. best do it outside." he said standing and walking out of the ball. he was smiling very happily, knowing what he was going to do was incredibly dangerous and hard to do. that was just his cup of tea.

Minerva got back. she went to Albus Dumbledore. they spoke for a second before she went back to her seat. she sat and spoke urgently with the others.(open=Minerva McGonagall/Jessica O'Meara)

Percy smiled down at Piper then walked with her towards the looming castle in the distance. "I suspect my Quidditch team will spread some words as well as my buddies, but nothing to harsh I suspect" Percy shrugged. He never really let things like that bother him. Most of the time he might even join in and have a good laugh. He headed back into the ball room as couples started to scatter and run off, laughing and giggling.

Theo nodded. He understood how she felt. A lot of the times people strayed away from him because of his creepy looks and snappy attitude. He watched as the ball lights started to dim "I think the ball may almost be over" he said with a frown. He turned towards Arabella "So, where friends now right?" he asked giving another faint smile. He was glad to have someone like Arabella who understood him.

Eliza gave a suspicious look. A normal girl would think that seemed very odd and would not follow, but Eliza was different. She loved challenges and adventures. Her feet seemed to move for her as she followed the eager boy "Where are we going, if I may ask?" she asked following after him.

"Definitely" Arabella smiles she was glad to have a new friend who understands her. She looks around at the dimming lights. To bad such a fun day has to come to an end. What's a ball without at least one person slipping anyway.

Connor smiled at her. "just inside the forbidden forest. no one will look in there." he said as he lead her there. as they got in, he stopped her and walked a bit on and turned to look at her. "now don't freak ok?" he said before closing his eyes. first, large black wings appeared, taking the place of his arms. then he felt himself shrinking, but not that much. then feathers appeared on all but his head, and he turned into a large american condor. he shook himself and folded his wings. that was the fastest time yet, and it was about 5 minutes. he was really bad at it so far.

Piper laughed, " I'm certain a couple people on my quidditch team will spread things as well. One of my chasers told me you were cute after our scrimmage, I don't think she'll be too happy." Piper imagined the face her teammate would make when she heard of her new relationship and smiled to herself a bit. She watched the couples run off, muttering something under her breath like " Peeves probably spiked the punch with Firewhiskey." Piper held onto Percy's hand a bit tighter, not wanting to get separated by the couples running about.

"Well in my mind we have three options, we could be normal and dance and try to have a romantic night and then go on one date after this and then break up the next day, we could stand here next to each other and be paired up but not really have anything to do with each other, or we could leave. Then leaving also has its own separate options. There's going our separate ways, doing something romantic, or doing something crazy and unexpected." I said going into this sort of mode where I speak smart and non emotionally, but still with this almost overly intelligent but sneaky and dangerous tone in my voice.

Clara sat for a while, but most of her friends were not there, so she stood up. Clara turned and drifted out of the ballroom. She reached the door leading to outside and transfigured her dress back into the school robes. She loved the outdoors. Clara walked near the lake and started humming to herself as she stared into the depths of the lake.

Theo took a final bite of his food and walked with Arabella to the door. He stopped and turned to the Gryfindor. "Thanks. I'll be seeing you around" He whispered before giving her a soft smile. He was slowly pulled away with the crowd of students rushing to there common rooms. What a night.

Elizabeth had followed the Hufflepuff boy, with some hesitation, into the Forbidden forest. She wasn't to worried about getting in trouble but more about getting eaten. Well Eliza is a witch so of course there is a lot of things off about her life. "Your...Your an amigius..." Eliza felt the words fall out of her mouth. She was from Ravenclaw, they where naturally smart. Her face didn't show terror but more shock and a slight hint of excitement.
