I walked into the main hall, my sabres in their sheaths on either side of my waist. I looked around, and brushed my cyan blue hair out of my eyes. I went to the back wall and leaned against it, and activated my semblance. I squinted as I looked into people's souls, attempting to read their lips to see what lies they were telling one another. Then I caught eye of a giant black scythe and bright red hair. Obsidania. Jeez I missed her, but I knew that she hated me, so I just tried to ignore the barrier that she somehow put up so I couldn't read her soul.

I looked up at her and smiled. I genuinely smiled. This girl. This girl is the first person to make me REALLY smile in over four years. I looked at her, then my eyes started to well up. I rushed forward and hugged probably tighter than I should have, but I didn't care. "Thank you Athena." I whispered, letting one silent tear roll down my cheek. I buried my head in her shoulder to wipe it away. She must think I'm crazy. But I didn't care. I wasn't alone anymore.

Jess looked and saw a boy with bright blue hair stand near the pillar she was leaning on. He seemed rather distant, almost as if he was searching the sea of people for one particular person. Jess sighed and took a glance around herself, she did need to make friends, and who knows, this kid could be on her team. Jess side glanced at the boy beside her, "hello." she said blandly, crossing her arms over her chest as she continued to lean against the pillar.
