Temisa noticed something red flying through the sky. She stood still and watched it for a while as it got closer and closer to her side of the hive.

TT: Wh^t is th^t?! It l00ks lik3 it is g0ing t0 cr^sh int0 0ur hiv3!
GT: The walkthrough said this would happen! That is the first comet, one of the many huge ones that are going to crash into the planet. This one is going to destroy our hive, so we have to get into the Medium before it arrives. There is no time to waste! Deploy the pre-punched card then come over here. I will get everything ready, but you have to do exactly what I say!

As soon as Temisa placed the pre-punched card on the ground, Nyctea picked it up and slid it into its slot on the totem lathe. She put a Cruxite dowel onto the lathe and watched as the machine carved a series of swirls and other patterns into the dowel.

GT: Move the dowel onto the small platform on the side of the alchemiter. It should start making two of the weird pie-looking things on the card.

Temisa moved the carved Cruxite dowel onto the alchemiter. A small blue oven appeared on the larger platform. A few seconds later the oven vanished, leaving behind two small tarts on the platform. One had sparkly green and silver filling with the space symbol on top while the other had swirled blue, purple and gold filling with the time symbol on top.

GT: Come down here and grab your pie, then eat it. It should move us and our hive to the Medium.

Nyctea picked up the tart with the time symbol and Temisa picked up the tart with the space symbol. They both bit into their tarts at the same time and vanished just a few seconds before a gigantic meteor smashed into the place where their hive had been.
