xxxxxxAlthaia kept quiet as she followed The Doctor. Looking from side to side at all the stuff in the house. She raised her right eyebrow as a thought came across her mind. Why a for sale house...? Wouldn't someone be interested in buying it...? Maybe not.

"No, but we're not here to shoot everything." He replied, looking around, opening doors until he found the one that led into the basement. Clicking on his sonic, he lit the way, cautiously heading down the stairs, listening carefully.

River: "Oh well then." Puts her gun away. "So what are we going to do now?"

xxxxxxAlthaia stopped at the top of the stairs. She bit her lip and held her breath- quickly going down the stairs. Catching up to the Doctor and walked by his side so the light would be above her.

Chrystal bit her lip, doing the same and holding her breath, being in the darkness. Refusing to let it show, she pulled her penlight out of her pocket, turning on the light. The Doctor paused. "We're going to find them, and then we're going to stop whatever they're doing." He replied, continuing on. Reaching the bottom, he blindly reaching out, flicking the lightswitch after a few tries as Chrystal let out the breath she had been subconsciously holding. The room was sparse, hardly anything in it, which made things a lot easier. "Start looking for that portal." He said, feeling along the walls for the teleport. Chrystal moved things away from any wall, checking behind and under it.

River: "How do you know this isn't a trap? What if the portal is here but they are just watching us?"

"Um, see, well that's the thing, I kind of... don't. But either way we need to find them. We know most of them are in the forest though, so that's good news... somewhat." He replied, still looking for the portal. He followed the signal to a book shelf, trying to figure out how to move it.

xxxxxxAlthaia stopped. Thinking for a quick second. "if it was then they would have done something about...now.... right?" she suggested. Then looked at the book self. Getting an idea from some books she read. The little girl removed some books- pulling on some ones too
