Emi quickened her pace to walk beside Briar, "Are we going where I think we are?" she asked in a hushed voice, glancing over her shoulder. After a moment of thought she added, "If we are going where I think we're going, and I think we a`re, shouldn't we be going the other direction?"

A small parachute deployed itself as Marti's space-craft neared the Earth' surface. A click let her know the restrqaint was unlocked as the pod crashed roughly into the ground. She opened the door and stepped outside, waving the rising dust away from her face. "Oooh!" she exclaimed, bouncing up and down, "The gravity is heavier than I thought." She walked forward, and then stumbled as if carrying a heavy pack. After a while, she eventually got used to the change in weight. A voice in her helmet bussed into her ear,
"Back in the pod Marti."
"Why?" she asked aloud, shut the visor to avoid the now-settling dust particles. Her advisor back home could be so pointless sometimes.
"Have you ever been to Earth?" Martiniay nodded, knowing they were watching her. She was proven correct when he responded, "How many times?"
"Two." she replied. This was going no where.
"You look a bit conspicuous." he pointed out. 'Oh...' she thought, 'Not so pointless after all...'
She followed his instructions and rumaged through the supplies they'd sent with her, digging out a black uniform. Her assistant informed her that it was a "police uniform" and was part of her disguise. After staring at it curiously for several minutes, she shrugged and pulled them on. She had to go get the tennis shoes she'd thrown out the door, because despite her preference of going barefoot, they said humans didn't do that in public, 'Silly humans.' She was stumped when she pulled out a pair of metallic black lenses on a strange frame and a helmet of soft fabric.
"Hat and sunglasses. You know, to hide your eyes and feathers." Martiniay shrugged and put them on as well. Leaving her helmet in the pod, she skipped outside, smiling brightly. That was, untill they told her to smile with her mouth closed because they couldn't disguise her pointed teeth.
Not long after she'd ceased skipping, her assistant relayed more instructions to her through a intergalactic transmitter diguised as a "blue tooth". "Turn here. This is the human high school, your name is Marta Grett, you are athe new truancy officer." She opened her mouth but he responded before she asked, "The real Marta has been properly disposed of, no need to worry." Martiniay nodded and wandered around the campus for a while. She spotted two girls (Mariné and Vyndas) and went over, trying to "act casual", as the earthlings would say,
"Hello fellow humans! The sun is bright and nice our day, yes?" she could hear her assistant smacking himself on the forehead and smiled, without showing her teeth of course.

Flint grew incredibly impatient, storming carelessly out and into the open he stood glaring at Briar and Nemi in mild annoyance, his face riddled with a defiant challenge. He seemed to be saying "attack me! Go on! Do it!" though his thin lips were pressed tightly together. His patience level was short and before they had time to respond he was upon them, making his presence hard to ignore.

Nemi screamed, and her fist flew out instictively, aimed towards Flint's face. Backing up she ripped off the jacket and pulled out her wings. They vibrated quickly back and forth, creating a high pitched humming noise as they warmed up incase they were needed. Even though they could only carry her short distances, and even less if she was helping Briar, they would come in hand.
She pushed Briar in the direction they'd been going, though her freind probably wouldn't go. Emini was almost certain she'd stay to use her home made weapons, but if she got lucky the Earthling would leave. "Traitrous scum." she hissed as the other alien, picturing her tail flicking back and forth like a cat's untill she remembered it wasn't there anymore.

Contemptness trickled over flints fiery eyes. Nemi was strong, a respectable girl that meant a good fight. Flint ached for release and like an artist preparing to create a masterpiece, Flint released him self into his sport. Sheer mussel memory sprung his tense body forward, lunging towards Nemi now, his teeth bared in a twisted grin.

Nemi's memories flahsed in her eyes, a similar scene the day she was caught. She shook her head to clear her thoughts, it wouldn't happen again. She twisted agiley, maybe too agiley, her skills were rust and her back muscles protested with the sudden movement. Still, she dove into a roll, tucking her wings in to avoid them being crunched. The Saturnic winced as his claws scrapped past her ankle. Em threw a punch at the back of his head, trying to catch him off gaurd. then again, he was trained to know how they fought, and would be able to anticipate his moves. Well then, it was time to break the Saturnic fighting method...

Flint regained composure before Nemi could think to move. One finger had absorbed the impact but the thick skin had taken most of the blow, regardless, Flint's mind was on Nemi, she was quick, he made a note of that, it would be important later. Catching her eye briefly he gave her time to finish her move so that he could stand just across from her, and he began this hazardous dance once more, flying at her with great stamina, shoulder first and head tucked in. Rolling like this was simple, and brought back memories of his early days rolling solemn faced, striving for his leaders approval. He was on a course straight for her lower knee. "You've jumped too soon! WHIP! Stop, stop now. Are you crying? I'll show you what you can cry about you stubborn child. CRACK! Now do it again!" Flint closed his eyes to block out the memory, work, work now.

Her adversary leaped forward, she had no time to think, only to act. She made the mistake of thinking about not being able to think and jumped too late. By the time she went to move, he was upon her and connected with her shin.Nemi's knee jerked back, farther than it was supposed to and she bit her tounge hard to keep from scremaing. She would have fallen back if the wall had not been behind her, so she was pushed into it instead. She stretched her wings and pumped the air, using the wall to propell herself upwards. Flint could fly too, but it would be easier than trying to dodge him on her leg, which throbbed painfully. "Awesome Squad go!" she called out in mock cheerfullness as she hovered in the air, waiting for his next move. Her instinct said to attack, but she ignored it and waited on her toes, figuratively speaking of course.

Briar flinched in surprise, stumbling backwards. One blue eye twitched, and her mouth followed through with a pouty frown. She glared at Flint and Nemi, regained her composure, and stood with her hands held defiantly on her hips. "Hoi." She barked. "My secret hide-out." Briar stepped in front of Em, crossing her arms across her chest at the same time. "Keep going! You'll know when to stop. I'll be right behind you!" She sized Flint up, eyes searching critically. Then she grinned. Her famous, completely insane, this is gonna hurt me waaaaay more than this is gonna hurt you grin. She winked, challenging him with one dangerously sparkling storm-sea eye. Here goes something. I just love tackle-hugs," she told Flint. "But I should warn you," Briar dove at him, and hoped her impact would take him down with her. Her locked around Flint's torso. "I'm not letting go."

Flint stepped back, Nemi's leg looked injured, girls broke easily... maybe that was why he could never train with them? He frowned, but quickly the frown morphed into something only seen when he was at his top... a thick smile, teeth and all, his eyes couldn't rest on one thing, so they flicked from one eye to another on Briar's sick and twisted face. And just as quickly as it came on, it was gone. Tackle hug... that was new. Tackling was what young boys did for play... attacking but bringing their opponent to the ground.... hugging though? Flint braced him self, his body rigid and set firmly in place. His blood boiled, sending a fiery surge through him. He extended his arms ready to catch Briar before she reached his vital organs, so well protected under a thick layer of rough skin, concealed under a hideous pale die, made to resemble the cushy humans exterior shells.

Briar squeezed her eyes shut, expecting to be caught or hit at any moment. However, the extraordinary does happen sometimes, and thanks to her short height that she had always loathed before, Briar slipped right under Flint's outstretched arms. Had it been anyone taller, they probably would've been caught. She had no time to be properly grateful for this fact, however, as she slammed right into Flint's torso. Uggggh, she thought. This is like hugging a concrete wall. Still, Briar had made a promise. She wasn't going to let go. Briar tightened her hold on Flint and hoped Nemi was busy leaving.
