Kai looked down, "I uh... I'm afraid of... Losing Nya as... she's almost my only family... Dad is mostly distant... I don't get to see him that much... Only during important things... Nya and I are really close."

(This makes sense cause Kai's parents are dead, so this is the closest I could go with out killing his father as, Kai can't be Fire Lord yet X3)
