Once she continued to cry to the point if got to sobbing, Kyo immediately felt awkward, what would make someone stop crying? Oh God, the Sohma wasn't particularly the master of calming people down, heck, usually not many people cried out of fear around him. Kyo shifted awkwardly as he listened to her answer, the one thing about the whole 'safe and warm' was something to do with hugging or any form of embrace and that was not an option. The cat thing also linked into the bad thing about hugging, the curse would be revealed, then again, no other Sohma was in the home as far as Kyo knew, and Toko seemed like someone who could be trusted with a secret, well, as far as Kyo could tell. Better to be safe than sorry, "Anything else...? Or is that all....?"

"Ah...n-no...s-sorry...that is all that comes to mind..." She wheezed slightly, her voice coming in soft, short puffs as her body trembled whilst she tried to keep up with the amount of tears flowing from her eyes. "I am very...sorry...so very sorry..."

Kyo shifted around as he contemplated his decision, thinking of the pros and cons, "Alright, uh, if I really do this, you gotta tell nobody about it, alright? Absolutely nobody, 'cause you shouldn't know about it." Kyo spoke eventually.

"I promise..." Fukawa stuttered out as she took her glasses off, her eyes too clouded with tears to bother even wearing them at the moment. She sobbed still, her rather ugly-sounding crying ringing a little about them.

Kyo kept shifting his weight from foot to foot as if he was rethinking his decision, ".....alright, I'm actually trusting you with this.." He muttered lightly before he moved forward and then - maybe a little harshly - pulled Toko toward him and ultimately resulted in hugging her, very well aware that it would be a minute at the maximum until he transformed.

Toko almost immediately felt herself curling against Kyo, her voice shaking a little less as she spoke."T-Thank you for...trusting me with your secret..."She almost-whispered, allowing herself to feel warmed by the gentle heat the other was giving off. Her heart thumped audibly and rapidly against her ribcage and she felt her shaking frame slowly beginning to return to usual, her eyes fluttered closed slightly as she breathed, trying to recover from the soft sobs she was still giving off along with gentle hiccups.

The teenager - which was now an orange feline after a burst of orange coloured smoke - would've shrugged if he could, "I was pretty sure I could trust you with it...just don't tell anyone, alright?" Kyo responded to her words of gratitude.

"A cat..."Toko found herself beginning to smile as she held Kyo with the utmost care, lightly nuzzling her face against his fur."I will never tell anyone, I can keep a secret..."She murmured against the orange fur. "You are very soft..."She smiled gently, a serene expression crossing her usually aggressive expression. She slowly calmed, sighing wistfully a few seconds later, losing herself in petting Kyo's fur in a satisfied manner.
