He released her, letting his arms drop and hoping to Primus she wouldn't break anything else. [Unable to.] He repeated. Trying to make her understand that he really was just making sure she didn't get in trouble. Plus he didn't watch her 24/7, it was just occasional checks.

From the force she was using, Potency stumbled back with considerable force into the wall. She glowered at him, pushing herself back up against the wall slowly. She did not appreciate his simple reiteration. "Well, if I break it all, I guess then you'll be able to. How does that sound?" She stepped forward, trying to slip her way around him in search of more of his trinkets.

He started panicking, his tendrils releasing themselves from his chest and wrapping themselves tightly around her to restrain her. He really didn't want too much trouble, and if she liked him or not didn't matter to him. He just...really didn't want Megatron mad at him.

She successfully made her way past him, but she hardly made it any farther before she felt snake-like arms began to wrap around her. She gasped, trying to make a quick escape from Soundwave's extra arms, but she was too slow. She was squeezed in an instant, and then she knew she was trapped. She balled her servos into fists. "Soundwave," she gritted, "get your disgusting tentacles off of me. Right now." She breathed, wondering what the consequences might be if she used her claws to try to cut through them.

Considering how sensitive the cabling was there, the shock from them being cut completely off would most likely kill him, and then Megatron would have her head. He shook his head no and slowly started pulling her closer to him, or at least attempting to. He really couldn't have his devices destroyed.
