Aeonus silently watched her, waiting quietly and patiently. He blinked when she knelt down beside him, and took a small step to the side as he watched her search for her shoes. He chuckled softly, waiting for her to get ready.

Tess found her shoes and slipped them on, tucking in the laces as she did. She had always been too lazy to actually tie her shoes. She stood up and leaned her chin against Aeonus's chest. "I'm ready to go now," She murmured quietly. Her eyes said differently, but she knew she should start looking for her family sooner or later. And now was just as good as any time to start.

Aeonus looked down at her when she leaned her chin against his chest, "Can I get a kiss before we go?" he murmured, placing his hands on her waist to draw her slightly closer. He grinned lightly as he leaned down a little bit, getting his face close to hers, and lifted his metallic purple gaze to meet hers, waiting silently for her answer.

Lisa smiled, moving her arms to gently hug herself to Jem and moving to gently nuzzle his neck, relaxed and feeling as content as she could possibly feel.


Alison hadn't even noticed Syth tugging on her hand and looked around in slight surprise when Syth pulled her down onto his lap, "I'm fine," she murmured quietly, ducking her head as she felt a soft blush color her cheeks, she slowly relaxed back against Syth, then turned her head to gently kiss his cheek. She just had to count herself lucky that he was protective of her, and didn't just wait for her to return in any of the times Alex attacked her, or this time with Mat.

Jem smiled softly as he relaxed, and lightly rubbed her back as he sighed deeply. He'd decided they'd leave at nightfall, or in the morning. He sighed softly, drawing her close.

Syth sighed softly, hugging her close as he nodded a little bit, and looked at her with a gentle smile when she kissed his cheek, "Alright," he murmured softly, and gently rubbed her back, "We'll be home soon, then headed to the island. Do you want to leave right away, or stay a night at the house, then leave in the morning?" he whispered softly as he kissed the side of her head.

"No buts," Jace said, shaking his head as he began toward the door again.

Tess smiled softly and lifted her chin off of Aeonus's chest as she drew closer to him and wrapped her arms loosely around him. She closed the small distance between their faces and kissed him gently.

Aeonus drew her closer as he softly kissed her, but he only kissed her for a moment, before he slowly drew away, and smiled down at her, "I love you," he whispered, and raised his head to press a kiss to her forehead, "Ready to go?"

Nelda watched him leave the room. She hugged her legs close. She didn't like being alone.

Tess nuzzled Aeonus's neck and sighed. She slowly dropped her arms back to her sides and nodded silently.
