Moments after she spoke up and called out to Kid, Katie could hear his footsteps approach and enter the room, so she glanced towards the door. Upon seeing him, she cracked a small smile, glad that she was so lucky to be close to someone like him. If it wasn't for the young reaper, she would still be stuck in the academy's infirmary, totally bored out of her mind and all alone. As he approached the bed and sat down on the edge of it, she slowly forced herself to sit up a bit, but only halfway to the point where she was leaning back against pillows. "I slept really well, yeah. And again, thank you so much for being nice enough to bring me here. I have no clue what I'd do without you - I mean... you guys," she said, stumbling over her words and correcting herself as her cheeks flushed a barely visible shade of rosy red. Yes, for the most part the brunette had already come to terms with the fact that she liked Kid, but she didn't want to hint at it or make it obvious quite yet. Especially because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. "So... what time is it? How long was I out for?" she asked, watching him with still somewhat tired sapphire blue eyes.

Laughing quietly to herself, Olivia gave a small nod of her head, her hair bouncing around slightly as she did so. "That's what I figured. This assignment should be quite a breather for us, as it's been so long and we've been needing to get back out there for a while," she said, finally reaching the doors to Death's room. Placing her hand on the handle, she wasted no time in opening the door, gesturing for Stein to walk inside first. "Oh, I'm sure he's still here."

James looked at Emma whilst she was talking to him. Then he answered "I don't see why he wouldn't." looking back in front of him. "I doubt he will just because I've been without a partner for so long." James continued pondering on the thought of lord death not allowing them to be partners.

Mai smiled again "I am aware. I saw you come out just a few minutes ago and I also saw you run into the door." the auburn-haired girl said trying not to laugh. Mai looked at the door of the death room while she spoke. After she was done speaking she looked back at Brock.

Also, today I'm leaving for a two day mini-vacation, and I won't be back until either Friday or Saturday!

Watching him carefully for a few moments, Emma waited for James to answer her, and when he did, she briefly nodded in agreement. "I don't believe there would be any reason for him to deny our request to become partners," she said, turning her gaze back towards the hallway in front of him. "Anyways, I haven't had a partner yet because I scare people away," the jet black haired girl continued, before merely shrugging it off. Moments later, they arrived at the door to Death's room, and without a second thought, she opened the door and gestured for James to go in.

I opened my eyes upon hearing Toki's remark, surprised he'd heard of Petit Biscuit before. "Yeah... My Mother loved listening to these songs," I commented, not really thinking before I spoke. "Why would I say that?" I thought to myself, questioning my choose of words. I turned my attention back to the device in my hand, watching from the corner of my eye as he sat down beside me. I could tell he seemed cautious of me, acting as if I were about to pounce on him or lash out. I wanted to say something else, but my mind was blank, I had nothing to say, really. I let my eyes drift closed again as the song came to an end. I opened my eyes again once I heard the next song begin. Without looking at the screen I already knew the song. It was by the same artist and was titled "Blue Deep Eyes". I recalled what my mother had said to me when I first heard her listening to this song.
*memory begins*
"This song reminds me of you, Damian," My mother spoke gently to me, holding me in her arms as I hugged her neck. I had just woken up in tears due to a nightmare I had. She wiped away my tears, her soft hands and familiar scent comforting me.
"W-why's that, M-mama?"
My voice was shaken and lined with sobs. I looked up at her, my deep blue eyes reflecting my fading fear as it was replaced by comfort.
"It's called 'Blue Deep Eyes'" She replied, giving me a smile.
"So... L-like my eyes?" I asked, my sobbing diminishing as I retuned the smile.
She nodded with a smile and began to hum along with the melody as she held me close, stroking the back of my head to comfort me.
*memory ends*
I took in a deep breath, trying to clear my head of the thoughts of my mother. I continued listening to the calming but somewhat cheery song as I remembered the sound of my mother humming along. I looked up, staring at the blue sky. My deep blue eyes seemed to reflect the sunlight, making them appear a beautiful bright blue.

Every couple of pages is fine, but don't be reposting it on every page. Now, that being said, be patient for Riceball. It's only been a week, and Riceball might be too busy to reply - God knows that I haven't had any time whatsoever lately, and it may be the same case for her as well. I'm sure that if you're patient, she will reply to you sometime soon.

~ As she mentioned that, I started to blush like mad. "So embarrassing!!" I think. "Heh...oh yeah..." I stumble, and try to hide my face behind my hair. I then feel like an huge idiot. "would there be a chance if you could be my...mei- meister?" My blush calmed down a little, and I look down at the auburn-haired girl.

~ I grin a little. When she said it was cute, I rub my forehead like I was remembering the pain. I laugh a little, and speck again."Great!"I don't exactly know if we go to tell Lord Death that we are partners or not...but I do want to go on a mission."Do we go tell Lord Death?" I ask. My green eyes (I fixed the APPEARANCE thing!) wonder over to the mission board. I can't wait to get started.
