"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I've been attending the DWMA for a few years now and I still have yet to find a weapon partner whom I can tolerate and also meets my expectations," Emma said with a small shrug, turning her attention back towards the area in the distance directly ahead of her. Putting her hands in her pockets, the jet black haired girl briefly thought about what she was about to say, and briefly wondered whether or not this was a good idea. Screw it, she thought, he doesn't seem like that bad of a person, and I kind of need a weapon partner soon. Letting out a heavy sigh, she shook her head a bit at her own thoughts and looked at James. "Well... maybe we can give being partners a shot?"

"Really..?" James said slightly shocked. "I had assumed you already had a partner.." he said with a look that showed that he felt stupid now. "B-being partners with you would be fantastic!" James quickly stated.

Yuki walked down the hallway as she looked at some students out of the corner of her eye. I need to get a new partner, but I doubt anyone will ever be as good as Lindsay. Her eyes widened when she remembered her old partner as she remembered what had happened last year. No, I won't let it happen again. I will protect my partner with my life. Her long black hair was laying down her back since Yuki wasn't able to put it up this morning. She rounded the corner and shook her head to try and get her old partner's image out of her head.

Blinking her icy blue eyes once or twice as she blankly stared at him for a few seconds, Emma shook her head, furrowing her eyebrows slightly. "No, I've never had a partner, because people usually don't meet my standards, or they're pushed away by my attitude," she said, recognizing that he felt stupid now for assuming such a thing. Grinning lightly in amusement, she shrugged at him. "If you say so. Well, since you agree, we should probably talk to Lord Death about this, right?"

Jackie was finishing up at her locker. Her uneven side swept bangs covered part of her right eye and she was just grabbing a string bag from the top shelf. She was alone not really paying any mind to the people around her. Then she grabbed a notebook then closed her locker.

First he listened intently then James, containing his excitement, nodded and said "Yes that would be the most sensible thing to do now." he said smiling. He was so happy he could just slap his brother without having his brother say a word.

Yuki looked down as she walked, her long black hair covering the side of her face. I know I need a new partner, but who could even come close to fitting my standards let alone replace Lindsay. As Yuki kept her eyes trained on the floor, she didn't notice the girl by her locker and accidently ran into her and stumbled backward as she looked up at the girl she ran in to. (Jackie)

Managing to pull a barely there ghost of a smile for James, Emma merely nodded and turned, continuing to walk down the sidewalk towards the academy. "Then let's talk to him now, and get everything sorted out," she said, not bothering to look back towards James to make sure he was following him. For some odd reason, she felt that she could trust him and act like her real self around him, and to say the least... well, it kid of confused her. Shaking her head ever so slightly to herself, her jet black hair swooshed around from side to side and she finally looked over at him. "So, I don't recall whether or not you told me, but what's your weapon form like?"

Jackie looked down at Yuki "Are you ok?" she asked not moving an inch. The fact this girl hadn't seen her standing here had amazed her. Then Jackie put her string bag on her back.

James followed hastily and made sure not to look weird whilst doing so. "Ah I have not yet done so please forgive me. I can take the form of sparring swords each having their own appearance." he replied elegantly with a humble yet dignified ring to his words. James smiled and put his hands behind his back in a mature manner.

"I'm fine, really." Yuki looked up at the girl and sighed. "Why am I so small?" Her bright red eyes looked around at the hallway with a look that said 'I dare you to laugh.'

Jackie got a ghost of a smile from the girls comment "Your not small your fun sized." she said. "You should be proud of your size." she stated turning to completely face the girl.
