As she stood there, watching Nico reassure the little girl, Abigail couldn't help but to blame herself for the other two children not making out of this alive. Even if they did, though, they were likely to be scarred for life. The little girl may have been young, but she knew what it was like to go through something traumatizing at such a young age, and she knew it was going to take a long time for her to be able to return to normal. If only they would have taken this mission sooner, the two little boys would still be here, too. Snapping out of her thoughts at the sound of Nico's voice, she nodded slightly in agreement, noticing that the girl's breathing had evened out. The poor kid probably hasn't slept peacefully for the past week, ever since she went missing. "Yeah, let's get going. I would imagine that her parents are worried sick. I'd be extremely worried, too, so I can't blame them," she said quietly, glancing down at the form of the bloodied, bruised and sleeping brown haired girl. Of course, it made her happy to know that she was able to provide comfort for her, despite the fact that she was a complete stranger. This was just one of many occurrences that went to show how much kids loved her, and how caring she acted towards everyone. It was like her maternal instincts were present twenty four seven. Resting her chin atop the little girl's head and being as gentle as possible, she felt the little girl shift around in her arms and tightly grip onto her clothing, only to relax seconds later. Sighing softly, Abigail nodded and began walking in the direction they had come from. At least now, since she was preoccupied by other much more important things, she wasn't letting one of her silly fears get to her. It was silent for a few moments, but the blonde broke the silence when a question popped into her mind. "Did the paper say what her name is, and where her parents live and everything like that?" she asked softly, glancing at Nico with her vivid forest green eyes.

Watching Jesse with a venomous gaze, Emma couldn't help but to snicker in satisfaction at his reaction to her gruesome words. Of course, she had restrained herself from making it even more gruesome, since she was able to plant very vivid, gory images into other people's minds through her word choice. Rolling her eyes, she placed her hands on her hips and smirked faintly. There was nothing innocent about her smirk - it made her look even more dangerous, to be honest. "Well, if you'd like, I could elaborate on that, but if I am correct, you would probably prefer to not listen to even more gruesome words," she said, glancing over towards James and shrugging. "I don't doubt that others have problems with him as well from merely looking at him," the jet-black haired girl said, acting as if Jesse wasn't even there as she spoke. It was obvious that she didn't necessarily care about what other people heard her say. That was just the way she worked, I guess.
