The dark-haired teen turned as he heard footsteps, and registered Kevin's presence. There wasn't time to say hello before Kevin set the curtains on fire. Sam leaped to his feet, the book he was reading clunking onto the floor, whipped out his wand and yelled, "Aguamenti!" Water sprayed from his wand, calming down the flames. He turned on Kevin with angry eyes.
"Dude, what was that for?!"

Kevin said angrily trying to just seem tough "red isn't my color green is more my color. I don't even know why im jere in Gryffindor im more like slytherin why did that stupid hat put me here". He was having a bad day it was the same day 9 years ago that his dad left his mom so he was just in a bad mood.

"Well, that gives no logical explanation for setting the curtains on fire." Sam snorted, a bit dismayed at the sight of the burnt curtains, which were now smoking and dripping with water. He glared at Kevin again.
"Yeah, you do seem like a Slytherin. I wonder why the Sorting Hat put you here?" Muttering under his breath, Sam cleared up the leftover water and the curtains with some spells.

"Probably cause of the fact today is just the anaversury (ya can't spell that) of my dad abandoning me and my mom 9 years ago and suddenly I get an owl from him saying he wants to meet and be all buddy buddy with me" he couldn't believe he just told someone his problem. He was just upset about his dad he didn't have many friends throughout his whole life so he wasn't used to how to deal with hisfeelings in a good way or how to react with people

Sam's anger instantly melted at Kevin's words, replaced by sympathy. "Abandoned? Aw, dude, I'm so sorry about that." He said, walking forward to pat Kevin on the back. "Are you going to do meet him?"

"I don't know. Bot sure what to do I don't know if I should meet him or if I'll regret seeing him or if I'll end up regretting not meeting him. Im not sure if I will become so angry that I do something to him I'll regret I don't know" Kevin said. Kevin was a muggle born. He had run away from home 3 years after his dad left him and his mom cause he was actually a juvi kid.
