Daunte's excellent hearing picked up her reply even though it was very quiet. "I looked at you cause you were looking at me that's all I did" he replied softly then knelt down so he would be closer to her height.

"I- I..." She didn't know what to say to that "Just.. curious.." Christie whispered as she slowly opened her eyes, revealing her common brown eyes.

"Why cause I looked out of place standing alone?" He had gotten her talking and her mind off what was going on an that was a start so he tried to keep her talking. He knew what she was feeling as he went through a similar stage when he first became an animagus.

"I.. guess.." She questioned her reply in her head. The girl became more comfortable talking to the boy, she slowly lifted her head but kept her knees close to her chest, wrapped inside her arms.

"I suppose I would" he replied, "standing around alone in a place that's meant for couples I guess I would look out of place to someone else"

"No.." She shook her head to emphasize her point, "Whatcha drawing?" She asked feeling very curious, drawing was her favorite hobby..but she could never find someone who enjoyed it like she does.

"That's good" he said then held up his drawing with his right hand, the picture was set on a hill overlooking a forest(he had drawn it like the forbidden forest) at sun set. The stars had just started appearing in the sky as the sun was setting and even though it wasn't coloured you could still tell every detail. "I had a dream last night and while I don't remember what happened in it I remember this scenery" he said.

Not knowing what to say, the girl slowly stood up and brushed her cape, not bothering to fix her top button and tie. She looked at the boy for a split second and bit her lip as she turned away. Her black converse shoes stepped on top of each other as she felt more and more awkward.

Elizabeth nodded consent to his words and kept hold of his hand as they got off the dance floor since she didn't want to get lost or separated in the crowd. When they reached the beverage and snack table, Beth picked a small glass of butter beer. She smiled at Robbie and watched the other dancers. She assessed the skill of the others. Beth decided that Robbie was a much better dancer then most of the guys.
