"That's it? That's what I hear all hunters say. I know you kill us just to keep living and to survive on out meat. But why?" Matthew sighed. "Hey, maybe we could be friends! You know, break the barrier. Rivals unite just us?" Matthew suggested to the hunter. "By the way, who are you?" He asked again. Matthew hadn't realized he was asking so many questions towards the hunter. He was just a bit happy he got so close to one.

After skidding a few steps in the muddy forest and then slipping, Ludwig walked some more before succumbing to the now visible pain in his back. He laid down on the forest floor, not caring for how clean it would be. There were showers. He just wouldn't go into town today. His grandfather would not like the news. Instead, the rest of the week he would just hunt normal game. He had to leave the fawns alone for a period of time. Killing one each day would result in nothing, they would all be gone by the end of the month. Groaning at his speeding and throbbing mind, Ludwig decided to just concentrate as the leaves drifted through the trees. He stared up at the blue sky slipping through the trees here and there, his eyes fluttering closed to relax.

Lovino watched the fawn curiously, trying to not scare it off. He was surprised when it came some close up to him, then noticed it looking down at his picture, and when he also looked down at it he scowled upon seeing it ruined. His gaze flicked up to the Fawn again to see how curious it looked. He slowly set aside the ruined picture to reach into the messenger bag at his side, and pull out a different sketchbook, opening it to a new page and taking out a pencil with it. "Don't move." He said to the fawn, looking over the pretty creature for a moment before beginning to sketch out an outline of him.

Gilbert paused as he heard loud footsteps, distinctively different from hooves, running through the forest. Gilbert turned in its direction and moved quickly as he could manage while staying quiet. He stayed to the shadows the trees provided, trying to use the foliage of bushes and vines to conceal his brightly done coat. After a few minutes, he spotted him. Ludwig. Red eyes widened with surprise, not expecting him to be the one that the albino fawn found. He tilted his head to the side. What was he doing? Just sitting there? He thought he heard a gunshot a few minutes ago, but it was too far away for him to be certain, and he would never have gotten there in time. Gilbert slowly moved forward, taking slow hesitant steps to not alert the hunter as to his location. Were his eyes closed? He could get killed out here like that.

Feliciano sat down in front of him. His eyes bright, and small tail slightly swishing. He watched the man, moving what looked to be a stick along the white square. Opening his mouth in awe at the marks it made. It was like the dark stones he used as a child to draw marks on the wall. Feliciano finally spoke to the man. Softly he asked, "What are you making?"

It took Ludwig a couple minutes to have the headache subside. Today was horrible. He messed up too much today. Was it too late to learn how to become a cartographer? The world definitely could need more of them, right? Bringing a hand up to his forehead, rubbing it then proceeding to sit up. The blond returned his hair back to its previous neatness, taking the pistol from his pocket and slowly removed the bullets one by one. He shoved the bullets and the gun back into his shoulder bag, taking off the rifle and holding it in his hands. It was such an old gun. Casting his eyes up from the old thing, Ludwig started into the foggy wood, wondering what else lurked out there besides the world he knew of hunters, villages, and fawns.
