The Last Log wrote:Some scientists in a country that I won't disclose were tampering with things that shouldn't have been tampered with and ended up with an extremely deadly virus. The virus in question harbors inside of everyone who has come in contact with someone else that carried it.. Or is already 'dead' with it. You see.. Once you die.. You turn into one of them. They aren't alive, but they aren't dead either. These monsters crave the taste of flesh and blood. If they get ahold of you, under any circumstance, do not get bitten. You will be turned into one of them and be cursed to walk the earth in a foggy state of mind, clear of consciousness and replaced by hunger that is never satisfied. The only way, the only plae to kill them is the head, nowhere else will work. So in this new world.. You must find a way to survive. Only the strongest can.
If you get caught -- too late, the end. As for me.. my end has come. One of the infected has bitten me and I have already started showing the signs of turning. When this log ends, shortly after, so will my time on this planet.
This is Samuel Wesington, log 238. Over and out..
The end to civilization has come. A virus has escaped containment and has spread all over the globe, killing millions, billions even. There isn't a cure, and no cure seems remotely close to being found. However, the representatives of the nations surprisingly didn't suffer as much as they would when their citizens became infected and eventually started dying. A few aches, pains, and headaches now and then seem to be the worst of it. But they, like everyone else, must find their place to survive in this world in its ruins. Some will bond together to form groups, makeshift camps. Some will be at each others' throats. You best find your best chance of survival now.
