"They? I don't even have a job, if someone sent me I doubt I would be dressed like this." Jax muttered, clenching her teeth, hoping the SHIELD agents hadn't noticed. The woman didn't know how bad this was going to get with her headaches and the possibility of losing control. The woman prayed for the best, hoping if something happened that Daniel or Bucky would be able to disable her without killing her. She was afraid, she didn't want to lose control with the SHIELD people around, it would result in a bad situation for her and the others.

Cal flew out of the dark alley and strolledflew horizontally. He felt a drop of rain on his left wing, tipping him off a bit. Calvin felt the rain coming more rapidly. His wings drooped, making him drop at an incredible speed. Cal panicked a bit inside, hiding it. He pulled on his mask quickly and looked down. Calvin saw a grassy area - the park - and a group of people just below. He chose the grass. It was better than hurting a bunch of people. He closed his wet wings and put his arms to his side, making him go faster and towards the park. When Cal got about ten yards above ground, he curled into a ball, soon the mud hitting his brown hair, mask, and costume. He had made a pretty big hole in the ground and people started crowding. They gasped and gaped, one called the ambulance and police. Cal had few scrapes and bruises, but other than that, he was fine; he had mimicked a man with healing powers, and they stuck. His wounds slowly healed and he stood up. The crowd backed up a bit. Cal walked out of the small hole and looked around at the crowd. They had made a small space for him to leave. Calvin walked out of the crowd, them watching him. There were murmurs and oohs and ahs everywhere. He kept his wings closed, even though they could still see them. Cal heard sirens and fire-trucks honking. He spotted them turning the corner. Calvin reached over his shoulder, touching a wet feather that came off easily. He pulled off his feather, not hurting much. Cal looked at the feather, big and bright. He let the feather drop and he kept walking. A toddler ran and picked up the feather, "Mister! You dropped your white thingy!" The four year old says. The mother of the small child scolds him and makes him drop the feather. Cal looked back once, not showing any sign of emotion. He kept on walking.

Oh. Well. That explains the female, of course he's still wary over her answer because she could be lying. Briefly, he flickers a calculating glare over to the male next. Whether or not somebody from HYDRA would probably recognize him, he was never going to be fully trusting. It was better to be safe than sorry, not everyone who worked for HYDRA knew about him, seeing as how he was locked away for sometimes years at a time. Those people were filthy and manipulating and who knows who could be part of that destroyed organization still, trying to piece it back together.

Daniel was a bit startled by the man's [bucky] glare. "I'm not HYDRA either, to be honest I think they are terrible people" he said honestly. Daniel was chased by HYDRA for some time due to his telekinetic abilities and such, they wanted to turn him to a weapon but they never succeeded. "I was actually chased by HYDRA at one point but I managed to get away" Daniel said calmly hoping that would calm him down.

Jax winced, leaning against the wall now. She didn't know what to do, how could she help this man when she couldn't even control herself? The young woman glanced between them, her nerves on edge as she waited for the SHIELD agents to leave, to leave the small group alone. Jax grumbled under her breath, wanting nothing more than to go back to her warehouse where she could shift without the fear of hurting anyone. "HYDRA... those people are insane and cruel." Jax muttered, she herself had also been chased by the group, but she had managed to shift to her eagle form and was able to fly away for some time and hide away in a forest in her eagle form.

Any recent scientific studies? Well, since he's been bouncing back and forth from motel rooms lately, the answer is an obvious 'no'. Of course Juliet doesn't know this, and he's not going to blame her or anything, "Not much," he said conversationally, like he was just trying to casually brush it off. Honestly, he missed the white cleanliness of a lab. He threw a quick little glance around and now he's absently looking through the crowd. Because he's not the best at--social things. And oh. What's that? It's the sun that glints and catches on the metal like it's a coin or something, and he would've missed it had he not been a scientist and been particularly observant. And he can obviously tell it's a person, even if they're practically plastered to the side of the buildings and half hidden by the shadows there. Bruce throws a look to Phil now, "Agent Coulson, do you--see the same thing I am seeing?" he doubted it, but still. A person with a metal arm is kinda interesting, don't you think? Maybe they're an agent or something, who knows.

Juliet looked to Bruce, utterly confused at what was going on. See something? She wasn't exactly a trained agent, because she didn't catch whatever they did.

Phil nodded softly, looking to Bruce. "Yes, I did. The Winter Soldier in New York? He disappeared after the whole 'SHIELD Hydra' business. Let's hope he's not here to cause any more harm." he said, frowning. "Normally I wouldn't do this, but we're going to tail him." And with that, he started jogging towards where Bucky had disappeared, leaving a rather confused Juliet to follow after.

Terrible people? Rude, he was one of those terrible people. Though his loyalties are incredibly muddled, he does find it in him to tense some at that, straightening up some as if he was trying to make himself seem bigger than he is. There is a stretch of silence as he takes a bit to process and register things, and then he's getting suspicious again, "....You know about them?" how? Maybe it was a more common organization that he had thought. To be fair he was in a cryogenic chamber for the good part of seventy years, their greatest soldier was kept out of the loop.

"Yeah, they tracked me down and tried to make me a weapon" Daniel said shrugging. Daniel couldn't notice but to hear footsteps coming towards then. He didn't know what to do since the man didn't trust Jax or himself. "Somebody is coming" Daniel said. He wanted to take out his pocket knife but he didn't want to freak the man out since he could hurt Jax or himself.

"They attacked me. They wanted me for my... abilities." Jax said softly, hearing footsteps approaching, "We need to go, the SHIELD agents are going to trail us and we need to get away before they can follow us." She told Bucky and Daniel, wincing as she spoke, fighting off the urge to shift. The woman stood up, the feral glint in her eyes becoming more prominent as her pupils turned into cat-like slits. She nodded in agreement to Daniel, her predatory instincts kicking in.
